Good app, ugly icon
I've had The Converter app for as long as I can remember, and it has always done the job. The app is my go to place when I need to do a conversion.
The recent update changed the icon for some reason. It's so lame I move the app from my home screen so I didn't have to see it all the time. I hope you didn't pay good money for the redesign!

Mixed Feelings
The app itself is fantastic and it's held a spot on my home screen for years. I'm not thrilled about the GUI change from an update or so back and I'm really confused about the new icon. The old one was simple and easy on the eyes.
Annoying quirk
The app and its function itself is great but I'm gonna have to take off a star for an annoying little quirk that honestly shouldn't even exist.
When im studying I usually like to have my headphones on and play either music or an ambience app. Well... whenever I go ahead and open this app, it always turns off the music and ambience apps. All for the sake of playing a little 'zap' sound while opening. Come on, you should know better than to do that. Please stop the converter from turning off my music and I will gladly reimburse that missing star. Also, the UI could use a little polish but I wont dock you for that.

An excellent app
Most of the conversions on here any one person will never have heard of, which means that it will serve a large variety of users. In the unlikely event that you want something that isn't here, you can add you own conversions. It does all that it says it does, and is very fast too.

Simple and useful app to convert just about anything you need. Worth the money!
Most useful app.
Very pleased with the current version of this app. It has a huge amount of conversion values plus the benefit of being able to add and edit your own. It's the only conversion app you'll ever need!
The original and best!
Just would be nice to see the basic conversions that you find on a school chart to be there, I'll add specifics if you need it, but it's too common to not see every one on the app.
Why does it support iOS 4.0+ only? [EDIT]
Bought this application and can no longer use it on my iPhone 2g with 3.1.3. Why choose to drop support for earlier firmwares for this app?!?! Thanks Apple, Vladimir, and other DEVs who support only iOS 4...I now have to drop $550 for a new iPhone, re-sign another three year contract =( or use some other inferior conversion app...
[EDIT] Just wanted to say thanks for the update to support the 2g!!! There really is no better conversion app than this (not even the one my company uses has all the units this app has)! Thanks again!!!

A v.good product
Product is easy to use but the currency converter was up to 3% in error on the currency I tested it on yesterday but appears pretty accurate today. A very good guide. Otherwise a good tool to have at one's fingertips. I use it often & in many varying situations.
Buggy
Never worked as advertised. Crashed everytime I opened it.
Update - after crashing the first ten times I opened it - it now seems to be working fine.
