Fantastically useful app
If you were like me using paper to learn the katakana and hiragana symbols you probably learned them based on the table order, I would find when reading kana I would be reciting a row in my head before I recognised the character in front of me.. Now using this app I can get practise in random orders, back to front with romaji to kana and kana to romaji - it's a really great way to learn kana! In a short amount of time I have managed to learn 214 kana, just got another 25 to go!

Speed test failure
The speed test in this app no longer works. It will start and then randomly it will bounce you back to the main app. The speed test was all I used this for, so it is now useless to me.

An Absolutely brilliant app that is perfect for learning kana, whether at home or on the move! Just absolutely perfect for learning everything to do with writing kana, great for the beginner looking to learn the hiragana and katakana character sets! Makes everything so much easier-definitely worth the price if you're serious about learning!

Very Great app for learning
I used this for about a month, and now I am able to read and write kana with ease. Aside from some obvious update suggestions listed in other reviews, I have found there is a small bug:
In the "All Kana" test, I got all 236 right, yet I got 99% (There is no kana in the recent incorrect list, so I know I didn't miss one).
Otherwise, I recommend this to anyone starting out Japanese!

Great app
This is a fantastic app for learning kana but the reason it isn't 5 stars is because it is a bit expensive for what you get but overall a great app.
Multiple lines
I like the idea of the app in general but every time I try to practice multiple lines appear. Please fix this and Id give this app 5 stars ^.^
