fun gameplay, click yes if you agree with the suggestion
It looks like it might not be that much fun, but after buying it, I think its the best app in the itunes store. The graphics are pretty good, you can choose the clubs you want, and putting is very detailed with hills, so you have to aim the ball in the right direction and use the right speed. The power bar took a minute to get used to, but then worked really great. This game is definately worth the $8, and is probably the best golf game in the store.
The only thing I would suggest, is to have computer players to play against. Other than that, great game!

Great game
Doesn't try to do too much but what it does it does well. A great golf game to while away some free tiime.
Great game well ported to the iPhone
I've been a fan of the Mac version of this game for some time. Now I can play it on-the-go too. This is a really intelligent version for the iPhone, retaining most of the options of the full game with a really neat GUI that doesn't interfere with play at all. The touch screen functionality is inspired and a lot easier to use than the keyboard/mouse-based desktop version. Kudos to Nuclear Nova.

Can't Stop Playing!!!!
This game is totally amazing, I think everyone should get it. I was waiting for a game like this since launch. THANK YOU DEV!!!
Just one question:
Would it be possible to make an update that keeps a "personal best" list for like farthest drive, longest putt and DEFINITELY include a "Best Par for 'X' Course" where X is the name of the specific course.
Just two problem:
Some times when putting I lose sight of the hole due to the rendering, would it be possible to leave the flag in until you are a certain distance from the hole?
Sometimes on the drive I cannot see the flag all the time. This is in the same vein as the above statement.
These are not major hinderances in fact I have only experienced the putting problem once in about 50 holes, but the driving issue occurs about once every 10-15 holes.
THIS SHOULD NOT KEEP YOU FROM GETTING THE GAME! It is worth AT LEAST 5 stars it is EXCELLENT.

Real nice game
Simple, fairly easy to pick up, with enough variety for good replay value. Yes the graphics are not super, but they are pleasing nontheless in a kindof 2 dimensional way. Putting is tricky but not unfair. Occasional quirky glitches such as repeated 'wiffs' in certain spots (couldnt be my golf game) don't subtract too much, although I hope they finetune in a future update. High recommendations--no possible disappontments--unless you are a fine graphics nut (only reason for 4 stars) and expect a desktop type game experience.

A good fit
I don't have time to master complicated game programs, so GL golf has been fantastic for me. I can style my shots, select clubs & play a few different courses without getting bogged down in player selection, conditions, and learning subtle tricks to make the game work. Graphics are a little rough compared to the Mac version and putting is rather unpredictable, but this is a great way to relax for a few minutes with something more interesting than solitaire, or some other board-type game.

Addictive Fun
I have few games on my Mac, but this is one, so I'm delighted it's available for the iPhone. It may not be as sophisticated as some computer golf games, but the variety of courses (new courses are always being added) and the ease with which you can pick this game up make it well worth the price. I've been playing now for at least 2-3 years, and I'd be embarrassed to admit how many hours I've logged (and STILL been unable to crack the top scores). Give it a try — you won't be disappointed.
