  • Simple and effective user friendly

This app is great for anyone who wants a simple effective and user friendly way to remember salah. The best part is that one can mute Athan for salahs as needed. Also can choose full Athan, just Takbeer, or a beep as the alert. The Qibla is always accurate.
I really like it. Definitely recommend.
  • Nice new design, Alhamdulillah

Alhamdulillah for the new design, updated widget and iPhone X(S) compatibility.

But please bring back the old notification sound. That sound was special and reminded me of Salah. The system notification being used now is very generic and doesn’t feel right.

UPDATE: Thank you developer/s for bring back the old notification sound. I appreciate your responsiveness. May Allah reward you.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the feedback. We will be restoring the previous beep sound.
  • The only prayer times app you need

    Enough said.
  • I used to love your app

but then you updated it and took away the features I liked. Can you bring them back, please? The Arabic interface and the choice in background. Otherwise it’s a simply beautiful app that does what I need it to do. Jazaakum Allahu Khayr
  • Used to be 5 stars

One of the best apps, used to be my favourite on iOS and MAC for a long time. Well designed has the needed features without overloading the app with tons of unnecessary ones and of course the best interface. The new update ruined the widget look be killing the options to select how to appears and by new ugly design. This is by far a 5 stars app please fix it. Thanks for the great work

  • Must have app for any Muslim (especially if you travel)!

I can’t function while traveling without this app! No matter where you travel or where you go, it will give you the correct direction of prayer, not only that, it has up to the second (yah second, not minute) prayer times for your selected mathead/calculation. I once was traveling during juma prayer along the interstate. I pulled over at a rest-stop to pray thuhr, pulled up this app and found out a local masjid was near by. Went to that masjid’s website, and was able to pray Juma with a my brothers and sisters instead of praying thuhr by myself. InshAllah the developer will get rewarded for that great ajeer!
Oh and please, don’t rate this app low because you don’t enable gps/location services! It’s how it works. It’s like asking someone qibla direction without letting them look at a compass or the sky. How would it work otherwise? Also you can click “search this area” on the map, and it will help you find masjids not near you. That’s how I found one along the highway near the rest area, or when I book a hotel when traveling. I don’t like to miss juma, even when traveling.
Also this is an awesome app to have while traveling during Ramadan. Like I said, up to the second prayer times, I always start and stop my fast, at the correct time, every time. The Apple Watch feature helps countdown the time till the next prayer, so I can see when Magrib comes in while driving, without even looking at my phone. I disabled the notifications from the phone because of that feature. But push notifications is an option if you don’t have a watch.
I wish I came up with this idea and all those features. The reward from all the good deeds you will get will be immense InshAllah!

  • Frequent traveler- Privacy concerns

It is a pity this app didn’t have a free period otherwise I would not have bought it after the strong recommended from a brother.

For privacy reasons I have my location services turned off. I can manually put in my location so prayer times are okay but Qibla direction stops working.

It does not even try to use the location that has been manually inputted to provide to give estimate Qibla direction.

Similarly the local masjid feature stops working instead of picking up location that manually inputted.

App needs to be re-written to link these features to the location input (whether that location is manual or automatic via gps) rather than directly to the gps which effectively disables these functions and the usability of the app.

I would recommend the Athan app which has a free version with lots of ads and a paid version for a $1.00 more than this one.

  • Full Azan on the ios

This App is perfect . One thing that i would like to see included is the option to hear the full Azzan on the ios ( mobile) . Once the Azan starts, it just give the first 1/3 of the Azan and stops!!!!!!!!!. Why not have a choice of hearing all or partial Azan in the notification setup section
    Thx
  • It works perfect for 2 years what happens

It works perfectly for more than two years in United States but when I came back to KSA the time of prayer are wrong!!! Even though the city is correct and I try to fix it in settinrg but still not show the correct time of prayers!!!
  • Still the best!

I've been using this app since my first iPhone in 2008. They keep improving it. It syncs with my Apple Watch, and a quick tap turns the sound off if I need to. Always accurate, with excellent GPS function so I can find the qibla easily. A low price for improving your deen, and done so well mashallah.
