Exactly what I was looking for
I needed an application to allow me to track both time and expenses for a short-term engagement. Timewerks does an excellent job of time tracking (either time elapsed using the Timer feature or by directly adding hours) and also captures expenses in a very intuitive way. I bought the app before heading to the client site for the first time and was able to use all the features of the app successfully before leaving the client's offices that afternoon. If you need to bill your time, this is an exceptionally good product.

This app has everything I was looking for in terms of recording the time and expenses incurred on project by project basis.
If I could export the information to spreadsheet rather than an
invoice I would give 5/5

An great mobile invoicing solution
I initially purchased Timewerks and found it to be pretty decent, but noted some bugs and had other concerns (unattractive invoice colors, etc.). I emailed the developer who was extremely fast in responding/acknowledging the issues and let me know when the fixes were coming. Now, I'm finding the product to be excellent for what I need it for and am quite pleased with the purchase. It would be nice to be able to print out reports (ie: list of invoices over a certain date range, etc.) or at least be able to export that data as a .csv -- hopefully we will see this in an upcoming release. For independent contractors, I highly recommend Timewerks.

Made for accountants etc
This application has improved my profitabilty instantly and allows me to track my working day in a robustly and easily. Simply set up each client as a project and it then allows you to track all parts of your engagement. There are two ways to monitor time. Manually input time or start the timer which when you stop updates the leger.
Not perfect but the designer listens to input and updated software regularly. Just needs export to .cab and were there.

Has Potential to be a great app
If your a freelance designer like me working in London, where every one seems to have an iphone this app could be so useful. What it needs:
1.Be able to input a full address for me and the client, plus more contact info ie email, web page.
2.Input a Day rate, not just an hourly rate, most people who do interiors and architecture work on a day rate.
3. An emailed invoice will be printed out on to an A4 sheet, so the layout needs to be work for this
4. The ability to include a image , logo jpeg to personalise the invoice
5. Control over the invoice number.
When it has these features, it'll be great!

Nice!
This is a quality app, allows you to juggle multiple clients and multiple projects. Tracking is well noted, very customizable. I'm was a little disappointed in the initial start up, but the help file is very useful in guiding through your first steps. I contacted the developer about a missing feature and received a personal email in hours responding to my request. Amazing. I think this program is currently solid, very useful and has a great deal of potential as well. It seems that the developer knows that and is genuinely interested in continuing its improvement. I'm an entertainment professional who does a great deal of contract work and despite the niche nature of my market, this program works great! For the price you can't do any better.

This is simply one of the best apps I have bought. Well worth the price or even 2x. I have had several emails with the developer who is very prompt and dedicated to making this the best time-tracking and invoicing app period. I love this app for its simple yet highly functional interface. I could not have asked for more in a time-tracking app. If you are a contractor and need invoicing on the spot this is the app to have. Allows for items and hourly billing and sends a simple and professional invoice to the mail app for on the spot billing. This is already a great app and is sure to only get better. Thanks Stephen!

Fantastic
I spent about an hour trying to decide which app I would buy to keep track of the hours I spend building websites for clients, and I decided on this one. It is amazing. It allows you to not only keep track of hours spent on certain tasks that you can set different price points for, but it allows you to put in fixed fee items as well, AND best of all, Timewerks puts it all in a mini invoice that you can email to your client on the spot when they want to know where they are currently at with their account balance.
Worth every penny and I recommend it to everyone! In the next update I hope to see an option to import your own invoice template.

Billing Made Easy
Thanks for the app! I'm a busy accountant on the go and I often times can't remember how long I was onsite (let alone billing rates and invoice numbers). This provided a simple way for me to track and bill for my time. The interface is intuitive and easy to use and auto populates the date. Notes are easy to add and appear on the invoice for client reference. The invoice that is emailed is a little plain, but it gets the job done (and has decreased the time it takes for me to get paid). It's great to be able to track if the invoices have been paid or not too. My only request is to be able to pick an invoice number to start from. I was a little disappointed when I emailed my first invoice and it was "#2". I use a four digit number that I would like to be able to continue from. I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to track and bill time!
