It made me to remeber my childhood when i wanted to become an artist. Simply was amazed what i could achieve. Hope it continues to get even better.

Very slick design
Haven't had this long, but it's lovely to use and has a clean interface and some nice options. I think an inbuilt or online manual would be helpful. Also, if there's a way to delete a painting from the app it's not obvious. If not, it really needs a delete button - perhaps with the play undo redo controls.

Just wonderful
Another 'I never thought you could do that on a phone' moment. I've not managed to create anything recognizable, but just playing with all the colors, brushes and transparencies is so enjoyable.

I LOVE this app. Although I can't draw very well, it is amazing to see what other people have drawn. People rate your drawings and so far I have had great ratings, even though I think they are rubbish!! You should buy you won't regret it!
Just a little suggestion
To improve the drawings, can you make a update where u can choose what type of point you want instead of it always being a circle? EX: a triangle or a square?

A "must have" app for artist!
Without a doubt the best art app to date! The interface is friendly and with a little practice & experimentation you can mimic real world mediums such as oil, watercolor, pastel, etc.
The online gallery allows you to share your creations and be inspired by the works of others. For the beginner, or anyone looking to expand their forte, I highly recommend using one of the galleries best features -- the playback option; it allows you to watch the creation of any gallery image, stroke by stroke.
The only negative thing about Colors is that despite the gallery administrator's best efforts, a fair amount of junk -- not art -- gets posted. By this I don't meant art that doesn't appeal to me personally, but the intent by some to turn this into a freehand text messaging service by posting scribbles that say "will somebody email me at...".
In a sense, the Top Painting gallery weeds out a lot of the garbage but since it is vote driven, the popularity of a contribution is obviously not always based on its artistic aspects.
My plea to the admin: create a gallery that limits access only to the serious artist. Require a nominal fee if necessary plus a sample submission for review as part of the admission process.

Great App!
Although very fun, ther are a few things that could be improved:
1. Abality to delete paintings should come with next update
2. A "search" tool could help find paintings faster.

This is one of the nicest paint programs on the ipod Touch/iPhone. It is smooth and fluid offering a very water color like look. The soft edge brushes and transparency rival photoshop in quality. The color picker with transparency, brush sizes, soft edge toggle and fade settings is extremely well thought out. One excellent feature is the gallery where you can browse, download and see how other artists created their work, because it replays every brush strokes. Great idea! If I could ask for anything else, I'd like to see layers. Happy drawing.
