Le Monde's commitment to investigate is as good as any major media in the world. I appreciate being able to read it in English.

Every article is extremely well written and the English translation is perfect. Keep up the great work!

And the integration with smart watches (a tiny summary if you select one of the cover stories) is surprisingly good. For the content and the practice listening and reading French, it’s actually worth paying for the subscription.
Search feature needs improvement
The app is fine, the content is informative and trustworthy. But the search app is lacking, it should allow for advanced search features.
Good content, app needs work
I like the editorial content because it’s not sensationist like The Times of London. But the app needs features - ability to bookmark articles, search articles, and maybe comment on them.

Indeed! I peruse 4 European newspapers online every day and Le Monde is at the top, in terms of French, European and world news, with a very balanced perspective.

Excellent journalism
I have only recently taken out a subscription - which is the reason for only four stars - mainly to try to l improve my French. I have subscribed to The Times for many years and so far Le Monde seems to be ahead on quality of type of news and stories.
The writing in the paper is certainly testing my knowledge of French but more importantly I am enjoying the different views and approach from across the channel.
