I have made some very tasty dishes using this app. My favorite feature is recipe search by ingredients.Tyborg77
Fantastic app
While I agree with previous reviewers that the recipes are far too America-centric I feel that this doesn't detract from the app as a whole. The variety of recipes available is staggering and there are some useful tools in the app to make things simpler and more user-friendly.
Unfortunately for us Brits there is not a lot we can do about the overabundance of American style recipes as big oven relies on user submissions so, unless we ban north America from submitting recipes, we will have to put up with it for a while longer! :) The only thing we can do is start submitting more recipes ourselves, Jellied Eels anyone?Show lessFuturexsight

A great resource
For those reading I am a man whose mother and grandmother were hard workers and still excellent cooks. when I want to cook something I remember they did it with ease but alas I never learnt what they took for granted. This tool let's me quickly get ideas from people who seem to know at least more than me. I tried a number of things and generally it's worked well and whilst looking for one thing or another I find something else to try. I dabble with cooking, but it's great when the kids say I've done better than their Mum.
Note sure if I have missed it occasionally it would be great to be able to refer to video footage or step by step pictures. Not saying it's not there maybe I haven't noticed.Show lessSwordfish-sas

Absolutely brilliant..
Never been to confident to cook, but this makes it so easy.

Essential tool
This the the App I use every day when planning meals. Search functions work well and there is recipe for every dish or ingredient I have ever thought of. And now I look forward to taking my favorite recipes to my holiday house where I have no Internet.
But I do still have to go to the Internet for some recipes - especially where the US name is different from the AustralianShow lessBerylvt

Easy to use App. Very large selection of meals to make. Good shopping list selection.
Still waiting for the ability to complete a weekly / monthly meal planner. This would make this App complete.vacantone
