Great game of Checkers - outstanding developer
This is a great portable version of Checkers. The graphics are super smooth. The developer has been very responsive to customer issues, and fast with updates. After using the free versions of some of their board games - and not minding the little ads at all - I've purchased the full versions of all of the apps I was using. Works Well Enough...
Though I have 3D Checkers and believe that app plays much better, I purchased this one only because it has a lay flat play screen. In this game, I don't like that one has to tap the checker and then tap the space one wishes to move into; would be nicer if one could simply slide their finger rather than tap. The option I really don't like and slowly driving me nuts, is that when one jumps an apponents checker and there is the option for a double jump, the screen will ask if you wish to do a double jump. This question shouldn't be an issue if one doesn't lift their finger from the checker; but I believe it has to do with the tapping issue all over again.Show lessAlbert D
Pretty Darn Good but Needs Improvement 3.5 Stars
The AI is all but impossible to beat (on max difficulty). I could only beat it because the game does not force you to jump, which violates official checkers rules. It crashes 9/10 times when you double jump. Also, it gives you the option of jumping multiple times - that violates the rules also. You must jump and you must jump as many times as possible in congruence with checkers rules. Otherwise it's great.Show lessAustin D Powers
