I am very happy to have parted with $1 for this well done clock and alarm app. Also, thanks for adding Indigo to the color schemes - it looks very sharp. The only minor criticism is that the month text is way too small. When flipping to look ahead, it's extremely hard to see which month you're looking at. It would also be nice if configuration could be done without having to exit the app, but at least I am able to get custom settings from somewhere. UPDATE: I saw right after I posted my review that the main settings (color, brightness) can be controlled from within the application, so disregard my comment. All is well. Now, just make the month text visible without a microscope and it's absolutely perfect. :-)Show lessThe Real Grammar Police
LOVE IT!
Bizarrely enough, I feel like I have tried nearly every clock app on the appstore, and this one HANDS DOWN beats them all. I'll tell you why...the shake to light function is amazing! I can set the brightness all the way down then pick it up and shake it to tell the time. I love it. Only critique would echo what someone else mentioned. If we could have the brightness setting save so we didn't have to reset it every night, that would be fantastic. Bit of a nitpick, though. 2.0 is fantastic, thanks again :)Show lesskorymatthew

Revised Review
Please delete my previous review. Being a relative newbie, I did not realize I should look in the Settings menu for configuration. What can I say, I'm an idiot... And the problem of it not working after Jan. 1, 2009 was immediately fixed with an update. So all is well and I'm a happy customer.Kelsoboom
Do Not Buy This App
The developer has no contact information, no e-mail, nothing. The app has no menu either, no way to change the LCD color, you can only set the alarm. I have to go through Apple to get a refund since the shister developer has no contact information. Will be asking Apple to ban this clown from doing business on iTunes.Show lessG. H. Nairn

Unlike other posts, I like the sliding calendar. And I like the Sundays displayed in yellow. The only problem I see so far is that the calendar does not show which month it is. But other than that, it's excellent !!rjmorita
Nice 1st release
In a Market where the app store appears to be getting saturated with clock sotware , it's important that each new release is as good or better than the previous. This is a good start & I'm sure will get better with each release. Firstly , the time is too bright. I have it set in the red on the black background , as this whilst in landscape mode is perfect for night time clock use. That said , it would be great to have a night mode where it stays on , however dims slightly after about 30 seconds or so. Another addition should be for the alarm icon to stay on screen when you turn to landscape mode. Choice of font size & ability for calender to stay on in landscape position would also be nice. I look forward to feedback & future updates.

Nice to finally get an update, however still room for improvement I feel.
1- What does the backlight time out option actually do. Is it meant to fade the brightness of the time after the specified time. If so , then it doesn't fade after the chosen time.
2- I like the fact you can now have the date in UK fomat. Also nice to have more than 3 months available for the calendar , however why not the complete 12 months.
3- Thanks for implimenting the ability for seeing current day & date on the screen when you turn to landscape mode. Unfortunately this seems to be at the expense of the set alarm time. If you set the alarm & keep in portrait mode , you see the set time & alarm icon. If you then switch to landcape , the set time & icon vanishes. I use this application as my bedside clock/alarm in a stand in landscape mode & want to see what time the alarm is set.Show lessSpuddyboy110
Awesome, but...
Great clock, love the old school look of it. Only thing I wish was that you had the ability to use your own songs from your ipod as the alarm. If I was able to do this it would be a 5 star without a doubt.T_Wood
