  • Excellent

Excellent Text Editor Application . Easily created .txt files , or .rtf files . It is able to save the files locally , or upload to DropBox , iCloud , or GoogleDrive cloud services . Much better than iPhone Notes , which has a hard time synching with Cloud storage other than Apple iCloud .
  • Lost Content

I downloaded this app this morning and it seemed quite promising. On first opening the app it asked if i want to store documents Locally or iCloud. I chose iCloud because i use multiple devices. I then spent an hour working on a document and when i returned to the document later that day all of the content from my document was lost.

If this app cannot do the basics (e.g. not lose data) then it has no place on Apple’s AppStore. 😡

  • Does what I want

This app creates nice rtf files. You can use underline, italic, bold, color, and font options. What makes this app better than most is that you can selective apply most options to a single word. It should be improved to allow font change to individual words. Because there are no ads, I upgraded. This review is not for the upgrade.

  • Wonderful

Only being using it for a short time but am very very impressed. Would highly recommend it to everyone.
    Well done !!
  • Mostly Does What I Need

For just making a simple document, it works. I allows selective bold, italic and underline and the use of folders. I could paste in a document from Pages and it kept the tabs and bolds as long as I did not use the T button to change font size on a portion that had tabs...

The one feature I think needs improvement is the change of font size. The T button allows a change of font size, but it converts it to text mode that loses any tab spacing you put in on a document you pasted in.

I could not get any response from the underlineA button or the paint bucket button.

  • Love this app

A little gem of an app!!
A simple text editor that just the right amount of features that allows me create notes and musings with ease
  • Beware of lost data and bugs!

The app developer is so insistent on getting a 5 Star review that it literally forces you in-app to choose how many stars you rate it. The worst part is that the developer’s coding is so bug-ridden that you even after you rate it, you can’t get the prompt to disappear off the screen. Only after you close the app (and lose all your work on the current document) are you able to use the app again. I’d like my 2 hours of work back. Downloader beware!

  • Great text editor but saving to Google Drive crashes the app

This is a great app for editing text files, but trying to save a file to Google Drive will cause TextEditor to crash. But, you can save to Files, then import from there.
  • Great little app.

Glad I found this App. I wanted to be able to write documents on my iPad and gave this a go, it does the job very well and the integrated apps extend the capabilities nicely, in fact the only thing that would make it even better for me would be a built in spreadsheet app, all in all, very useful without breaking the bank.
