IClickr Remote
The iclckr remote sounded like a great idea or an app and it is the only free one out there although it is definitely not worth the full version. I am very dissapointed because it's such a hassle to hook up to your computer. Good idea thoughstevevaus

Horrible App!
Needed an app to control my PowerPoint presentation. Thought I would test out a free application before I bought one. I have a Mac and could not get the remote to work. Hard to install. Hard to use. Mac stuff is usually so simple. Not this time! Complete waste of time!!!AppleFan4Life
Couldn't get the PC-side software to install
This app requires that additional software be installed and running on your PC. The install never worked. The manufacturer's website shows others have had this problem, but there is no fix.Anonymouseuserguy

iClickr Lite
Works for me, as advertised. Installation (including the Windows stub application) went smoothly, as does connectivity. The 15-slide limit is canny - enough to make you thirsty for more. I will purchase the more-capable version, since most of my prezos exceed 15 slides.drengfer
Badly done, poorly documented
I'm a professional presenter and software developer. I am truly amazed that Apple even allowed this poorly developed and totally untested product to be listed in the App Store.
The software behaves differently each time you boot it. Most of the time failing to connect to any one of 3 different PC's tested. The on screen icons fail to function even when a connection can be made. The gestural interface does not follow Apple standards, and the documentation is virtually unibtelligible. As a "free" product, it's not worth the money.

Great App with Excellent Support
I find this app to be very helpful in presenting. I have not had the problem of the wi-fi dropping the connection that the others experienced. You are able to forget about following the projection screen or worrying about managing paper notes in addition to running the presentation because it's all displayed on your iPod. I did have one problem with viewing the notes on my iPod during the presentation, but the I-Clickr support team was quick to assist me and had my issue resolved promptly (turns out I didn't have the most up to date version of the software). So glad to have found this app, and that it work with both my Mac laptop and work PC!Show lessdonnie8745
Another one that doesn't work
At least they give you the option to try before you buy. I installed the software on my computer, now it won't shut down. The web client service on my laptop just stays at trying to close when I shut the laptop down. Again, at least it was free to try unlike the crappy Presenter software that does not work either.Show lesskfsutops
