Not worth it
I paid the 4.99 and it wasn’t worth it, the app has to be restarted after a couple min cause it loses connection and won’t even find my pc until I close and restart, needless to say I definitely won’t be renewing my subscription, had a lot of hope for this app too pretty disappointing.

Potential virus
It’s not working, prompting me with a WARNING!!! sign to download the how to do software/ app on my laptop. It has this 90’s scarcity mood of spamming. I will never download that potential virus. Reading older reviews backdated 7-8 years which indicates similar experiences. The new reviews are all 5 stars stating how amazing this app is. I looked for a way to flag this with the App Store but couldn’t easily find a way to do it so I leaving a review which I rarely do normally. I think this app should be overlooked but a developer or someone who can determine if this app is legit or not.

Convenient, easy to use
Super convenient, I was able to watch whole movies using my phone as a remote. setup time was less than a minute

It’s great! VERY easy setup on Linux!
The setup on my Linux system was extremely easy. Three steps and the app found my computer and I have access to all my files.
On my iPhone 12 Pro Max the app works brilliantly, not only can I browse my files, I can set VLC to full screen and vice versa. I can also control the playback and other basic functions. I haven’t checked out the more advanced functions yet but there is plenty of functions.
To get access to ALL functions, it will cost £4.99 ANNUALLY, which is cheap as chips. But there is a week’s trial so you can explore all the functions in peace and quiet.
This is actually the first and only app I will pay for annually because it’s worth the money.
So now I can watch whatever I want on my projector without getting up from my bed.
Well done to the developer and it’s a must have app.

Actually works, with a few issues
I’m impressed with how well this app works and how easy it is to get working, but I did find that I had to close the app on my iPad in order to prevent frequent pauses in playback.

Love it it’s awesome and does what you want. You should pay for premium. Worth not getting up from the couch for it!
