Great value
Works exactly as advertised. This app gives sunrise, sunset, and all times in between for both the sun & moon. On the compass rose view, allows one to move the sun or moon in minute increments during the day. Long list of locations; plus the ability to add your own. Ability to view dates in the future or past. Highly recommended. Would definitely buy again.

Focalware Rocks!
I am Photographers Assistant, and Location Scout and had been searching for a program like this to replace what I used on my Palm treo. Everything I tried made it so hard to get the info I need. Then I found Focalware... Problem Solved! Works like a charm. I have checked the data against SunPath on the Mac and it is just as accurate, and it includes the MOON also! (That is not an easy task!) All for $90 bux LESS. If you need to know where the Sun and Moon are at a specific time of any day, then this is the app for you. A sighting compass and inclometer (Suunto Tandem) and Focalware in your kit and you are ready for any location. With all the poorly written apps out there, and not being able to demo them makes it hard to justify the more expensive apps. Focalware is worth every penny!

Perfection
As a photographer with architecture clients this app is a godsend. I can easily establish best time of day to take the shots I want using this app. It's so simple, so easy to read and does all I want, no more and no less. I'm sick of apps trying to be all things to all people, this is a prime example of an app well done. Well done!

Great Utility
I've been waiting for something like this to come to the iPhone for a long time. I agree with ztdb's comments, his suggestions would be very handy. As an architectural/commercial photographer, it helps me plan the ideal time to shoot an exterior in advance, or when arriving at a location, I've been able to check when the sun would be at a more desirable angle and height, gone off to take other photos and return in time to get the shot I want. Personally I think it's a must have for any photographer.

Perfect app for photographers! Knowing what time sunrise/sunset is good, but knowing WHERE it's coming up and where it's going is even better! Best $10 I ever spent in photography! I would give this 6 stars if I could!

Great App!
Saves you a trip to the US Naval Observatory Web site to figure out sun information. Used in a conjunction with one of the level apps in the App Store can tell you just about everything you need to know. Most of all though, it works, it has a wonderfully simple graphic interface and is great for use on location or for using to plan an upcoming assignment.

This is really handy on the go when you need the location of the sun of moon. However, the locations really need to be worked on. It needs a larger database...
