Very easy to use
Very easy to use with intuitive controls. However could be improved for five stars:
- make it possible to change the date without entering the configuration dialog e.g. have left / right arrow controls for this on the main screen
- allow saving of more than one custom location for later recall.

I've been waiting for this for a long long time!
An indispensable tool for DoP's, Photographers, Location Scouts. Pair this app with an angle finder app (like Tilt Meter Pro) and you've got yourself a simple, easy-to-use, and accurate sun/moon tracker for any location in the world (allows you to enter your own custom co-ordinates) for any time. Well done!

Rise/Set Calculator
After I downloaded this program and used it for five minutes, I immediately deleted the other three apps I've tried for calculating Sun Rise/Set times. This is THE must have program for photographers wanting/needing to know the position of the Sun (or Moon). With the program, you can instantly determine where the sun will be at a particular time, or determine the time the sun will drop below that high canyon wall or other landscape feature. Great interface too!

A MUST for every photographer, amateur or pro! The easy stats (sunrise, sunset, and moon phase) are there, of course, but packaged together with sophisticated additional information, like the sun's elevation and azimuth angle (which are automatically calculated for any time of day and any location). Wow! With the iPhone’s built-in GPS capability, all this essential info is immediately available to the serious photographer or filmmaker, and all in a simple, intuitive interface. This will help me plan my shoots much more effectively in the future. Thanks!

Very useful
What a handy gadget to have ready to go when photographing. Works well and is easy to use.
One idea for improvement might be an azimuth estimator - if there was a couple of bubble levels at the top of the screen to insure that the iPhone was vertical, then there could be a circle with degree markers to estimate exactly where the sun / moon would be at a specific time.

Put away the charts and lists and calculators, this incredible tool is any photographer or filmaker's best pal.
I could not believe how simple and easy to use it is! I am confident now in setting up outdoor shots. Night shots? Want the moon over someone shoulder? All that can be planned with accuracy with just a glance at the easy to read GUI . I can now imagine shots better too . I can't wait to get this app out on the road. What a timesaver!!
