But nice logging function. Nicely formatted emails. Horribly overpriced. Would probably work well with some sort of stethoscope attachment. For the price, I've been ripped off.

Tried and tried but I get readings from 11 bpm to 149 bpm just sat on sofa resting. The accurate setting give me low readings, fast high readings. Needs an update asap

I set the app to take the most accurate resting heart rate. The acceleromter returned 130 bpm; the microphone method returned 34 bpm.
I then took it manually: 64 bpm. (I'm an EMT).
I'm not sure whether this app uses a random number generator to find heart rates, but I am sure that it's a waste of $3.

I have always thought that apple should add some health tracking features to the hardware but then I realized it could be done with what we have now and iHeart does it! And in the extreme case that it is just don't getting your reading it love it for the log capacity! Very useful! Great idea!

Priced too high for what it can do.
I have Otterbox case on my 3G iPhone and so does not work as well unless I use external microphone or accelerator and shake to pulse. I can count beats without spending $2.99.
