  • Fantastic

    This is a fantastic app! I use it to fall asleep when I’m having trouble doing so and it works every time! I even use it if I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back to sleep. I love Andrew’s voice and way of speaking. It’s so relaxing! Can’t recommend this app enough.
  • Relax by Andrew Johnson

    I have used and loved Andrew Johnson’s apps for years. They truly work to help me relax and sleep. He has the most mesmerizing voice. Nothing else compares. Having said that I wish he would update his old version of RELAX. The new version doesn’t flow as well. It is too descriptive and doesn’t have you count down as many times. It takes longer to relax and turn your mind off. It still works, but I miss the older version.

  • Original versions??

    What happened to the original tracks for these?

    The updated ones seem to be much shorter - is it just me or am I crazy? They used to be over 20+ minutes long if I remember correctly…

  • Works for me

    I don’t usually write reviews, but this app has really helped me. I used to have terrible anxiety attacks, racing thoughts at night, depression, etc. I was desperate for a natural way to relieve these symptoms, and somehow came across this app 10 years ago. The guided mediation is amazing, completely relaxes me and puts me to sleep every time. I set it on the “do not wake” setting, and just drift off... I dunno how he does it, but Andrew Johnson really does know how to calm the mind. Doesn’t work for everyone, some people think the voice is too cheesy since he does have a strong accent and some corny music playing in the background. But if none of that bothers you, and you can take it seriously, I highly recommend it !!!

  • Best app ever encountered! Must have!

    This deep relax app is the best app for stress relief, sleeping, anxiety, and anyone who needs to clear their mind. I am only twelve and I don't know that much about meditation but I have tried multiple apps and this is by far the best! At my school I have been through so much drama that I wasn't able to eat, sleep, I was constantly crying, and the nerves in my face were in a continuous state of twitching. I used this app and after even one session I felt better then I knew was possible. You must have this app it is the BEST! 😌😍

  • Calm soothing voice for relaxing sleep and hypnosis

    Andrew Johnson’s voice is so calm, soothing and doesn’t irritate. This app will help you unwind and fall asleep. Highly recommend! I tried the free version first, but it “wakes” you up at the end. So I bought the paid version which allows you to drift off to sleep and never realize that you are no longer listening…. it’s perfect! I am wanting to try his other hypnosis apps since this relaxation sleep app was a very good experience!

  • Better Than a Pill

    For the past 2 weeks I've been stressed and anxious about my job to the point where I could not sleep at night. I took sleeping aides which made me very groggy and lethargic the next day. I googled 'ways to combat insomnia' and came across this app. Downloaded both the Relax and Deep sleep apps and tried the Relax app after work, on my living room couch. After listening to his soothing voice for 5 minutes and following his instructions I dozed off and napped for 30 minutes! Something about his voice, it made me focus on his words and not focus on my worries. Can't wait to try the Deep Sleep tonight.

  • Effective, even for those familiar with the technique

    The narrator has a calm, soothing voice and a calm, soothing script, which gently leads one to relax, starting with the muscles in the feet, and ending with the muscles in the face, following by deeper, more relaxed breaths, and ending with a series of imaginings which lead one into a deeper state of relaxation. I was familiar with the techniques, apart from the imaginings, and had found them helpful in the past. I was surprised, to a degree I could not have anticipated, at how much more effective they were when listening to the narration. Of course, I can't promise everyone would have a similar experience, though I find it difficult to conceive how anyone could find it completely ineffective. Personally, this is my favorite app. I've never grown tired of it. And the experience hasn't diminished over time.
