  • Your Ticket to a Good Night's Sleep!

    I have quite a few hypnosis apps, and the first thing I'd tell people looking for one is that Andrew Johnson is my favorite "guide" among the apps available on iTunes. Personal taste, of course, but I find his accent and voice extremely soothing.

    I have maybe 5 or 6 of Andrew's apps, and this one is my "go to" choice on most nights when I'm not looking for special help with pain relief or anxiety management. It's probably my all-round favorite and the one I'd recommend most for anyone just getting started with self-help hypnosis.

    These apps, particularly this one, can really help you relax your mind and body and drift off to sleep more easily. Soon you'll start to see a payoff in your waking hours, too. Well worth the investment. If you're not certain, start with the free version, then upgrade like many of us have!

  • Works every time

    I have chronic insomnia and have for nearly 20 years. I hate sleeping pills because they make it very difficult for me to wake up the next morning, even with low doses. This app is now my go-to remedy. It works every time. I'm not sure how long the audio lasts because I'm always out before it ends. I've had this app for quite a while and I've heard it end once. If I have to use Relax for many days in a row it will take take longer the more I use it but I have rarely had this problem. Great app, highly recommended.

  • Absolutely worth it

    This is my favorite app! I got it about a month ago. When I listened to it the first time I was really frustrated because I thought the app was dumb and it would never fall asleep. But I made sure that I listened to it for 2 weeks more to see if it would eventually help and I am SO GLAD I did! I use this every night to fall asleep. I'm normally do anxious that it takes me at least a half hour to fall asleep and now it takes me 5 minutes! I've fallen asleep during it every time I listen to it since about my 4th night. I also use it to take naps in the middle of the day, which was impossible before. I have literally told all of my friends to go buy it. I recommend u do too!

  • Going to delete this app.... nnnnhhhhoowwww

    1. Such a great voice, well recorded, but too many fatal distractions to be effective. He needs to keep it simple and free from affects like "nnnnhhhhooowwwwwwww." You'll see what I mean as soon as you listen to the version without instructions.
    2. He doesn't spend nearly enough time on relaxing the body or on breathing. He moves quickly to the "benefits of the beneficial sensations" and then to the math lesson on percentages and fractions as you descend down the random marble staircase.

    Bottom line is its sounds as if he went with his first take with no rehearsal or editing which left too many distractions to be effective. You'll hear what I mean.

  • WOW!

    I hadn't slept for the past 2 nights, spent them tossing and turning unable to fall asleep. I punched in insomnia into my app store search, and this came up. The other reviews were good, so I figured, what do I have to lose? $3 is worth the risk to save my sanity. I honestly don't even know how far I made it in. I made it through the body relaxing and last thing I remember was counting and then my alarm went off! Way worth it and I'm glad I tried it. I woke up feeling more tested than I have in a while.

  • Relaxed

    I just started using this app even though I downloaded it several weeks ago. I am sorry I didn't try it sooner! I am going to use this daily. I feel very relaxed and after using it I felt a surge of energy. This workd for me ... I am not one that usually gets into this type of thing but I am sold. I feel a huge difference in my stress/relaxed state. Very noticeable! Thank you! Highly recommend this app!!

  • A life saver

    I've been suffering from Major Depression, Dysthymia and Generalized Anxiety Disorder for some time. Once I finally got help, a HUGE part of my recovery (in addition to medication and therapy) has been relaxation and meditation. These Andrew Johnson apps have been absolutely indispensable! I used them every day for 3 weeks + and they made a world of difference. I now use them when I feel I need a little "tune up", or about once a week, and feel great. Highly recommended.

  • Helps with fibromyalgia sleep disturbances.

    I have fibromyalgia and one of the major problems is sleep disturbances. I sought out meditation in an attempt to have more restful sleep. I started with this app and then purchased the deep sleep app. After a few weeks it began to work. I slept through an entire night which was amazing since I hadn't done that in over 6 months.
    I tried a lot of different apps but these are by far the best. Fibromyalgia is a long lonely journey of experimentation. Try this. Seriously.

  • Incredible.

    Easily the one app on my iPhone more worth getting than any other. It simply works. This is not the first guided meditation/relaxation I've tried, but it is without a doubt the most effective. I usually have a very hard time falling asleep during the day—much as I need a decent nap most afternoons—but listening to Andrew Johnson, I was sweetly snoozing long before the track was over. Definitely worth the price.

  • Just... perfect.

    This is exactly the app I've needed. On a typical night, I toss and turn in my bed for nearly an hour before I fall asleep. The first night I tried this app to attempt to fall asleep to, I was skeptical. The man's voice was very calm, soothing, and unique, but along with the music, it came off a tad corny. After the first exercise, I was thinking to myself "This isn't working for me at all. What a waste!" No sooner than I had remembered thinking that, I was wide awake, only nine hours later. I highly suggest this app for those with troubles falling asleep at night, or for people that are searching for a way to relieve stress and/or meditate.
