Way ahead of Smarthome
I use MobiLinc with Insteon products from Smarthome. The products themselves are very rudimentary. And the Hub Smarthome thinks you need adds a little functionality. Thankfully, the admin console from Universal Devices opens up much more advanced processes. MobiLinc is the easy way to monitor, control scenes and devices. The Connect allows control from outside home. There are a lot of Mobi-apps so the hunt for which one is a bit confusing. That could be a bit clearer I think. But 5 stars for making my home pretty smart.Show lessDavid #?

I have been using the app for about 8 months and it works nicely. I like the newer version 4 interface better but it took a couple hours to fully get used to using it.
I purchased the voice interface addon ($10) and it seems to be reliable but vey limited functionality. It seems to just toggle the state of a light on or off regardless of what I tell it. Apparently no ability to speak a dim or brighten state. Also the voice addon is only working on my phone and not on my iPad so I guess they want another 10 dollars for that. This is the reason I will not buy any more addons. I think a purchase should work for both my devices.
The app will nickel and dime you for other plug-ins that are too expensive for what they do.
By the time you add and all that other crap, you’ll probably spend $100

To restore your paid in-app purchases, including the voice plugin, on your iPad go to Plugins and tap “Restore” The voice plugin supports full dim and brighten commands. When I updated my watch to OS5, MobiLinc would no longer work. I immediately sent an e-mail to explain the problem. I got a response that my problem had been logged. Within 2 days at most, there was an update to MobiLinc and the problem was resolved. That is what is know as great service. I can count on the app working.Show lessNone973

If you have an ISY, you need this app. It has everything that you need all in this single app. If you have cameras, the integration works extremely well and they will provide assistance on configuring it in the app. Once it is set-up, it is simple and easy to use.Seendbl06
Always Ahead of the Curve
This app did more for home automation five years ago than other systems can do today and it continues to be the go-to app for home control. There used to be a problem with the Apple Watch part of this app but I am very pleased to say that with Watch 4, the hardware finally caught up to what this app can do. It works and it works very well.
This app has a lot of powerful features which frees the ISY user from a laptop or desktop. Once home automation is setup, this is really all you need to do on/off control, run programs or set scenes. It really does it all.Show lessJC-PV

After paying nearly $50 for the app then paying another $10 to get access to IP cams, and having to pay another $50 to get another plugin and another $140 to get another controller that did not even come with a power supply or network cable to connect to the PLM for Insteon. This is truly the worst app and device combination I have ever seen. Having to pay out for all these little bits of the puzzle where every manufacturer puts all this in a single bundle with complete control for less than the price of a single controller is ridiculous.
And then forcing the user to also pay for a subscription to their own devices is just ludacris and sounds like something the we want to control all companies like Apple and Microsoft.Show lessTheSharkbite1

Hi TheSharkbite1, we can’t speak to the controller hardware issue since we’re only the app makers, but I would encourage you to email us at support@mobilinc.com with your purchase history for apps and hardware so we can advise on how best to proceed. The MobiLinc Connect subscription isn’t required, but does make quite a few things easier plus integration of your home with Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT.Outstanding support
For some reason the app wouldn’t open. There was a cloud with download arrow in it, but clicking the app button gave an error message. Emailed support and Wes gave a few suggestions. His first suggestion worked (reboot the iPhone) and I’m back up and running.
I have been a MobiLinc user for many years and this was the first issue I’ve had. It may have been a result of me trying iOS 12 beta which was said to be very stable. However it did have some issues so I rolled back to iOS 11.x. Roll back seemed fine but maybe it caused an issue with this app. I had a couple of other apps with this same problem but I don’t recall which ones. Clearly this was not an issue exclusive to MobiLinc Pro.
My point is MobiLinc support responded within 24 hours (I submitted the ticket on a Sunday) and their advice fixed the issue.

Awesome App!
If you have an ISY controller, you need this app! Setup is quick and easy. This allows you to check the status of programs, devices & scenes and even control them remotely from your iPhone, along with some other cool functionality. You can even set the most used scenes, devices and programs to appear on the dashboard.
This is one of my favorite apps and I use it almost every day when away from home. After years of using it, I have yet to run into a bug. It just works!!!Show lessjohnmsch

Best Home Automation Interface
If you’re using an ISY home automation controller, this is the best mobile control for that system. I’ve tried several over the years, and this one comes out on top. Excellent functionally and incredible support from the developer. The dashboard provides a clean interface to your devices, scenes, and programs. You can also dig deeper into your system if needed. I’m starting to use the geo-fencing capabilities built into the app and this allows me to further automate my home. I especially like the custom notifications you can create. My security system is tied to my ISY and MobiLinc Pro lets me monitor the state of that system through custom notifications. This works much better than the notifications built into that security system. You’ll get very quick responses from the developer if you ever have a question.
