Appreciate it

I love this app it helps me plan ahead when I am making my schedule for the ministry leaders. I love to hear the word being proclaimed However sometimes like now there is no audio. Have you guys cut out the audio? I used to love hearing it being proclaimed especially to hear the pronunciation of certain words. I missed that. Can you bring that back? Irony know if it is something from my end but as of writing this there is no audio. For everything else. Thank you.

Avoid

This app supports iOS 7 but doesn't work well on Apple's latest devices. No support iPhone 6 or 6 Plus resolutions. I guess the 7% that still use iOS 7 matter more than the 93% who are trying to use this app with updated software.

God Bless

Need an update for Saint A Day paid addon. The app crashes whenever navigated to browse and prayers section of Saint A Day

I've appreciated this app for years

I've appreciated this app for years. As a director of Liturgy it helps me plan! Once in awhile there are issues, though: Last year there were no readings for the 4th Sunday of Advent, since it happened on December 24. I've noticed this sort of thing once or twice before. I can never depend on the app to be accurate for when the Gloria is to be sung at a Daily Mass. It used to be that the Gloria was included all through Lent and Advent. That's an obvious error, but should also be an easy fix--perhaps it has already been taken care of.

Today I noticed that the entrance chant for the upcoming Mass for Advent II in December is incorrect--it ought to be "People of Sion...." It would be wonderful if the app developers could go through and get rid of these errors which keep the app from being a five star app.

Audio

I have used this for years and been grateful for it but now for many months the audio cuts out before the gospel. Please can you fix it? Thank you.

Glitchy, missing content…

I have had this app for many years. Up until last year I would give it a 4 star rating. Now, too often the audio portion does not work at all or begins then stops and will not continue. My guess is that the problem is it has not been updated in over 3 years. I have an iPhone 15.

I listen to the readings every morning on the way to work and I have to switch to a different app that I can count on. Sure hope they update what once was a great app. Sad to be retiring something that has been a part of my daily life for the last four years.

I think they forget to renew WAU

The people reading on “Word Among Us” are the exact same as the readers on IMissal. I have used this program for many years. I have grown dependent on this program reading me the daily readings while I get ready in the morning. For about the last 3 years the readings go out a lot. I discovered they use “the word among us” readers”. They must link to that app. It is a subscription for $22 a year. I love the layout of Imissal, so I use WAU to read for me while I keep IMissal up to follow. I missal is also great for our family prayer each night as we take turns reading the upcoming Sunday Mass. it is just disappointing that I need to subscribe to WAU for the read to me part. Maybe IMissal forgets to renew the membership.

Generally good but not in a pinch

The app does what it claims. I like the reading options and various setting. But the all isn’t flushed out. The search function is terrible. There’s no drill down options, just a blank search bar. And when I tap the search results, they never take me to the exact area. Sometimes it doesn’t even take me to the correct chapter. So while at Mass, I’m constantly scrolling to find the right area and by then, the reading is over.

We pray, we speak to the Lord. We listen to scripture God speaks to us.

To know God is to spend time with him to build a relationship. Listening to scripture in Word and song, you listen to the author of life. We must have a relationship that includes spending time. In my busy life, getting ready for work I just play the imissile several times then journal what God is telling me . Then I write what I am thankful for, what I need help with, and who I’m praying for is a powerful tool, to know the word of God in the battle of principalities.

Here’s why this app is great

You don’t need Wi-Fi
It’s all downloaded and you can get the readings anywhere. Yes it’s not Laudate and yes it’s not Halo. What it does give you are the readings the Saint of the day and when you can’t read the scripture you can listen to them via bluetooth. So even though I have a bunch of other apps that offer more this one I use every day because it’s got the very thing I need, the readings of the day without the need to wait for a slow connection. It will come up anywhere. Praise God and thank you for this app
