  • Easy ones not always easy

    This is overall great. However, in more recent times the “easy” ones aren’t always easy. I use easy ones when I want a more mindless type activity and lately many of the “easy” ones make you actually use your brain, loll (yes, I know that’s one of the benefits but I’m not always wanting those-that’s what the medium and hard ones are for). The easy ones used to all be easy, but not any more. Depending on my time and mood, I tend to start new ones instead of continuing to work on the hard “easy” ones.

    I’ve played this version of the game so long I can’t remember now all of the reasons I rejected the others. One of them is the very essence of Sudoku is the symmetry. The pattern of how the numbers are placed is part of the puzzle and if I see a version where it doesn’t start our symmetrical, I move on to a different version. I also need the option to write small options in each square. I’m not one who can solve these puzzles using a pen. I need a lot more deductive options. I like the option of deciding whether I click on a box and select the number I will put there or select the number and it is placed when I click on the box. I like having the option of not having the timer ticking at the top. I can just solve the puzzle and see where that attempt ends up in the history of past solves. The very best feature of this version is I get all of these things mentioned above AT NO COST!

  • Almost 5 star

    I like the ability to choose between picking cell first or digit first as there are times and needs for both. I happen to be color blind and find all the shifting colors very discerning. I would like to have the option of turning them all off. My favorite Sudoku puzzle has NO color. It’s very clean. That’s what I like about it best. On many other sudoku puzzles I think the cells are too small. This one is just right! Deleting seems a bit clunky here though. At least for me. Maybe after I’m more familiar I will be more at ease with it. All-in-all I like this puzzle quit a bit. It’s just that color thing and deleting....
