So bad. No iPhone X functionality.

Still horrible. Laggy on iPhone X and XS. Piece of crap.
  • No notifications

This app was working great, now I don’t get notifications, I have tried turning them off and back on, deleting app and reinstalling, nothing works. So annoying... please fix
  • This not good

    This not good it old
  • Doesn’t work

This app is completely useless and not user friendly. The developer should remove it so as to save users from frustration and time wasted. It only works when I’m at work, which defies the purpose. Even then it doesn’t function like the computer version. Also, you can tell by the lack of reviews (some 8-9 years ago) that most users have kept away. Oh well, lesson learned.

  • Just don’t

Wouldn’t be surprised if “OpenText Corp.” is a Russian spy-ring.
  • If only I could give it 0 stars

This app is the worst app I have ever used. I only use this for my schools server but I have had the app quit on me at least ten times and most importantly when I am writing long emails once I click send. Did I mention the fact that this is the worst app ever aesthetic and functionality wise.
  • Notifications!!

UPDATE: Im liking this mobile version less and less. Now, along with not sending notifications, the app constantly crashes which often causes you to lose the content of the message you were trying to send! >:-(

I like the first class mobile version, however why don't notifications (sounds and badges to show how many messages you have while your on the home screen) work? It's frustrating that you have to go into the app in order to know if you have messages. So if you are waiting for a message you have to either keep it open or keep going back in repeatedly to see if the message arrived. This is the only app on my phone (iPhone 6) that I have difficulty receiving notifications, despite the fact that they are turned on in settings.

  • Wall Street Greed Affects Opentext?

Here is my guess as to what is going on. The financial industry has pretty much taken over the business world, especially businesses that are publicly traded. In order to keep their stock price high, Opentext has got to show strong results in almost every quarterly report. So the programmers made it difficult to impossible for some devices (like my iPhone) to login to older versions of FirstClass server, thus pressuring users to do an expensive upgrade, thus boosting income, thus boosting stock prices, (thus transferring wealth from those who generally need money to those who don't, thus creating more inequality and a shrinking middle class, thus inspiring citizens to vote for candidates who they think can fix this worsening situation). It may not be the greed of Opentext but merely their struggle to survive in a game with rules they didn't write. It's time that wise people rewrote the rules to serve the country and the world as a whole.

  • The UI Refresh made it look worse

I didn’t know it was possible, but this “UI Refresh” made the app look worse. The giant white box on the top of the login page looks really awkward. Changing the login button to a single line of text below the password field was a terrible idea - I’ve only been using the app for a few hours and I’ve already clicked on the password field at least 10 times. The white space on the right side and bottom of the icons looks ugly, is centering the icons really that difficult? Also, the details on this app are don’t seem to match up. It says to use the FirstClass GO app on devices that are running iOS 9 (though I wouldn’t even consider that app to be usable due to constant crashing, it being really slow, and dropping connection from the server and not reconnecting when opening the app). If the app is compatible for iOS 4.3 - 8.X, why would there be fixes for iOS 9? Instead of now maintaining 2 mobile apps, why not work on getting FirstClass to work with the builtin apps that actually work? Maybe that would help free some time to work on some of the other issues.

  • Calendar app crashes :( 😏😖

I downloaded the app on my iPhone last night when prompted. Now the calendar crashes every time I try to open a date where I have more than one entry. I use this as my primary calendar because it syncs to phone, iPad, and computers. So this is a huge inconvenience. Our IT people have tried several things and the problem persists. But they don't seem to have the issue on their iPhone. I even tried adding a second event for today and now the whole of first class crashes. That means that any day I have two events and need to check ANYTHING on my first class calendar, the app will crash and I'm out of luck. You MUST FIX THIS ASAP.
