A very good app, but it needs localisation
I love this app, and I find it very useful for managing my classes at secondary school in the UK. However, there are some things that could be made easier for UK students, such as the word semester being changed for year, and the grading being able to change to A*-F. Also, it would be good if you could duplicate semesters, because we have the same courses (‘subjects’) every year, but with different timetables. If I do this manually, teachers I have had for multiple years for the same course appear as 'multiple courses'.
Another small annoyance is the variety of back and save buttons. Sometimes the left button saves the screen, and sometimes it cancels it.Show lessXsanda
Essential for students
I've used this app for a good couple of years now and it's the best I've found. It stores my timetable easily and I can see my day and even my week in one click. The reminders are also very useful, it's saved me from being late for class on several occasions! The functions are there to make one-time edits for things like room changes or cancellations meaning I'm always on top of where I need to be and the assignment feature is great as a visual tool to see exactly what needs doing when. Great, but...
I love this app, it's really helped me organize my study. But I wish that there was an additional section to assign readings to classes, so I can add them in and know what a need to read to prepare for the class. Sometimes I have 5 or 6 readings for each class, so I can't put them in with the assignments or I will lose track of real assignments. Part from that, this is a fantastic app.Show lesscazthekiwi
Missing one feature
This is a very good app that syncs with other iCloud devices which makes it easy to use.
However, there is a feature missing. We aren't able to take notes e.g. Lecture notes in the app and are forced to use another app. It would be 5 star easily if we had the ability to add .doc and other formats such as .ppt and make handwritten notes for each lecture and view them by date or week. This would help to make revision for exams so much easier. And possible even choose which specific notes and documents we have taken are available to sync through iCloud and which are simply stored on the device as iCloud would have a limit and some files might be really big.Show lessDhruve Shah
Loveeeee this app
First and foremost, I LOVE your app. It helps me a lot with uni and it's amazing.
I have a couple of suggestions got the app to make it that much more amazing if you'd like to see
1. Add a task system, so in conjunction to assignments, users can add items to the task menu (much like the reminders app) so that the reminders app and istudies can talk to one another much like the calendar and istudies calendar do. This would be ideal as assigning an "assignment" to a small task seems silly and not as intuitive as a supplementary task system.
2. The ability to change the colour scheme while trivial may encourage users to use the app more
3. Dropbox, google drive and sky drive integration for documents to use with the app would be a nice feature however that seems like a bit of a "too many cooks spoil the soup" in the making but I am sure you will make something awesome
4. Add Siri integration for iOS 6 to allow tasks to be set up for istudies, would be awesome for new iPhone 5 users and others.
5. I noticed you have a Mac app but no windows app it would be really cool if you could get that to happen , the implementation of a windows application would be amazing and open up more users for youShow lessdeelan1990
Must Have For all students!!!!!!!
This is a great app for any student. It will give you the time management tool that is very powerful yet simple to use. I began using it in my first year in uni and it provided me with useful ways to keep on top of my assignments, lectures,tutorials and important workshops. What I found amazing was the Ability to have all your lecturers and programme leaders details in one place which made it easier to email them on the go with out having to log into my email account to do so. It's abit tedious inputing the data but once it's all in there it's a breeze using the app...well worth the money spent!Show lessJibagast
Very good, some minor things that could make it 5 star.
This app is great, can input timetables and tell it when holidays are so classes don't copy onto that week, great to be able to put assignment weights and deadlines in and also be able to link tutors echo the contact details are always at hand.
It would be nice to be able to personalise the timetable itself, eg start time as currently it starts at 5am which leaves large amounts of unfilled time at the start of each day.
Also I would rather you could default one view, at the moment it flicks back to day view regularly when I prefer using week view.
If you were able to put week numbers in as well that would be good as my university often works with week numbers within the term as well.
Having said that I love this app and the light version is just as good if you don't need to input so many subjects but I needed the extra flexibility and it is fantastic value for what you get!Show lessResh91

Fast becoming my favourite app!
This is a fantastic app for uni students. It lets you put all kinds of information in! I love being able to add instructors to each class but it would be great if you could add separate teachers to the same class: in one of my classes I have different lecturers each week so it would be great to link the right teacher to the right class.
I find it a bit annoying having to count the weeks myself so being able to number them would be great. Also having an option to set the first day of the week as Monday would be ideal.
I'm also having problems setting up one of my classes that occurs every second week as it doesn't work this way after a holiday, however, I'm aware you're working on fixing this so I look forward to the update.
It's great to be able to view iCal events in iStudiez, but this app would be phenomenal if it could work the other way around.
I've only recently started using this app on my iPhone, iPad, and iMac but already I love it. I couldn't rate it highly enough. There are a few things that could be changed to make this app perfect but it's worth every cent. iStudiez is going places!Show lessCharHart
Bug?
Used this a lot and had it for quite a long time on my iPod and it was amazing but then I had an incident which caused me to loose all date for this app (and everything else) so I didn't enter information again until I got an IPad and realised it was a Free since I had the paid version on another divide which was great!
But...I was entering information fine for class one and all the assignments.....but the button for adding another class looks to be missing its no where! Now I have an app that only helps me for one class.
Hopefully it's fixed soon as this is a great app it's so polished, buttery smooth and the GUI is top, you could trick people into thinking this was a apple made app.Show lessRobert Owen
