I used to have textPlus when I was little and now that I am an adult I’m trying to use it for contacting people around the world and for some reason it will not let me get a new phone number. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I’ve tried deleting my account and re-creating an account. I’ve tried turning Wi-Fi off and using mobile but, NOTHING is working. I only have one SIM card in my phone and it’s an eSIM and in their Q&A. It says to turn off or remove one of the SIM cards if I have 2, I only have one again and that’s an eSIM card, so I can’t remove that or turn it off. customer service isn’t helpful because they just tell me that I either need to turn off a VPN or proxy, which I don’t use at all, or they say to reinstall the app, which I already did, or they say that I need to get a new IP address… I don’t have access my router and I don’t know how to get a new IP address, OR they say that I need to try and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data seamlessly, which I’ve already tried doing multiple times and it does not work.
