Pay app
This is the worst app I have on my phone it is so poor .it stops letting me in all my other apps let me in and never stops this one stops me getting in at least once a month then I have to get my boss to get another password (pass word reset) It shouldn’t just stop letting me in . Everyone at work has the same problem this needs to be fixed it is a legal requirement that my work supplies my pay detailes every week so I can see it and church that it’s correct

Not a user friendly app.
This app is not at all user friendly! My place of employment recently switched from paycor. As a comparison they are night and day. I have never really liked workday as I have had to experience it through my wife due to her employers use of workday. I have had to reset my account twice now along with several coworkers. The app looks fancy I give you that but the devs should have put user interface at the forefront. I am not just dragging this app through the mud I am speaking from my own experiences. As of yet I have very little hope in seeing any improvement to this platform yet cling to hope that changes will be made to improve the basic functionality. I shouldn’t have to spend five minutes trying to find my pro balance for example. Why couldn’t there have been simpler ways to look at your time card? Why?!? Overall if could give less than one star I would from first impression to now I loath having to do anything that requires using this app.

Been broken for some time
For the past several months, even with new updates, the app doesn’t work.
It’s slow and sluggish and sometimes unresponsive.
It used to be fine - mostly I use it to check the dashboard where we have “rewards and recognition” (which is where our company has all the options to check out payslips, discounts, shares etc)… you click this and it’s blank.
Some times if you click the blank space repeatedly in frustration the app crashes.
Most of the other parts of the app are fine - work just tell me “make sure you have the latest version of the app installed” (I do)
I can access workday via the web and on a work system but on my phone (which is an iPhone 15 pro fully up to date) just won’t work
So what use is an app where the most important stuff isn’t accessible and no one seems to know why.

Available hours
I came into the app to request sick time however, when selecting sick time, I actually don’t know how much is available there it could show me the available hours next to sick time or regional sick time but it doesn’t. I have to go back to the dashboard and then into, the time I have available and once I have that information then I can go request time off. I went to request time off and I selected for example 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM partial day. It said I was exceeding the amount of hours I had available in which case I had over seven, but I was using exactly 7, I saw a field that I forgot to put in the duration of how many hours was being used. Well if the system could do the math at 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM is seven hours. This may have not been so frustrating. sorry for the bad review today. A lot of this stuff is new to us and so far not making a lot of sense. I suppose it just takes time.

Terrible app for such an important matter
It's important that as employees we have access to our documents, such as pay stubs and tax forms among other critical documents
This app offers nothing of the sort. Pay stubs are not even ordered by date, all scrambled, dates not matching the files. Also no option to download or print any of these documents ( the first time I used the app 5 months ago these option were available, now the best you can get is a screenshot of the documents you need, if of course, you find them)
Having access to your work documents is a right as an employee and this app fails incredibly in doing so. Of course when you contact your employer he will tell you that all documents are available in the app and so you enter a never ending loop.

Missing a few basic features
Only just started using this, so I may be missing something.
But as a manager, I can’t see a way to put sickness through for a colleague (or holiday for that matter), or attach new fit notes to existing sickness absences. Do the colleagues really have to do this themselves? Previously the colleague would phone in sick, a manager would put them on the system as sick and attach any doctors notes provided.
Also there doesn’t seem to be any list of current absences due to sickness (so we can easily update things, see return dates etc).
Also we have plenty of employees that can’t/wont use computers or smartphones, how do we put hol/sickness through for them?
As I say, our company only just started using this, so maybe I’m missing something obvious, if I figure it out I’ll amend this review.

This could be a really great opportunity
I think this app could be a great use to all employees in our site if it was used to its full potential. Providing people with more information regarding their skills and also if it could be used to book holidays. Currently it’s paperwork to book a holiday unnecessarily wasting paper and time. The digital world is here and should be used to improve things and reduce costs.

Not bad, could do better
The app is ok. The one thing that annoys me after all of this time that other platforms does was the option for calendar syncing. Other platforms if you book annual leave it then adds it to your system calendar so you can see it with everything else, wish Workday did that. If they did that if would be a much better app

Abysmal backup for new system for new hire and I9
I recently hired a new technician and the new onboarding system through my day was absolutely appalling . No one could help me navigate the system and it got compounded when I called the so called cvs health help number - I spent one hour trying to get a real person as the prompts did not include or say help with On Boarding a new colleague- instead I had to put in my ss number my date of birth !!! How incompetent and inefficient . When I finally got though yo a person she was not trained enough to help me .
As a pharmacy manager it was a nightmare trying to run my store and deal with all this too
I feel you need to make our lives simpler - please take away the hiring process from us and give us an hr department that will do all the leg work for us
