Great app
Great little app. Keeps you organised. You can create lists, edit them or add new item that are not on the list. Tottaly deserves 5 stars
Good App, but Unreliable Sync
Looking for a replacement for the Palm's 'Handy Shopper', this is the only app I've found that lets me have multiple stores, select one or more stores for each item on my list, choose the store I'm shopping at now and show only the items I need at that store. The bad is that it relies on a web portal to sync, rather than syncing with my PC directly. Web sites go down, internet access goes down, and then you can't sync. Right now, I've updated my shopping list on the web portal, but when I try to sync my iPod Touch it says "Server is not reachable". I've waited an hour, which means I can't go shopping today as my list is stuck on the web portal and I can't access it once I leave the house!
Also, when I use it offline, the app detects that the internet is no longer reachable, and stops looking. So even when I'm back home, it keeps saying the internet is not available, forever, until I force-quit and relaunch it.
It has a place to add notes for any item, but for some reason the font size for the notes is microscopic, and I can't read my own notes, especially if they include numbers.
I'm also not a fan of shopping apps that come pre-loaded with items I don't buy, or items I do buy but prefer to name differently. Unfortunately, just about EVERY shopping app is guilty of that one...
Also, I have many ad-supported apps, but this is the first one that PLAYS A VIDEO AD when launched! Really?! Plus, I'm often 'tricked' into clicking on an ad, as it appears right where the 'edit stores' button was as I'm about to touch it.

Rubbish
Am I doing something wrong? It recognised just one of the ten items I tried to scan a barcode for! Why? Is it American and does that makes all the difference?
Opinion
As a shopping list as described it is brilliant, especially for free. I just paid Β£2.00 for another one and it nowhere as good as this one. Get it while it free. Well done to creator.

Excellent for shopping but.........
I love this app as I am fed up with writing out a shopping list, then either forgetting the list, or forgetting a pen to mark the bits off. However, the app crashes every time I try and scan an item in to my basket. This is highly annoying as I have to restart the app every single time I want to add something to the basket, rather than scan continuously. Also, it doesn't read the barcodes properly, and i find that i have to check every single one that i scan, and amend the majority of them. I'm afraid that until there is a fix update for this issue, my rating drops 2 stars to a 3 star. Once, or if they issue a fix, I will fix my rating to a 5 star as I truly believe that it is worth it.

Makes shopping easy
Love it!! With the addition of the web app this is the BEST shopping list creator EVER. I have been creating Wish list, Gift Lists, Stuff to Buy lists etc. This app is just so functional. I literally know within a cent the cost of my shopping. Sure a paperlist might be as good, but if that's your thinking why do you have an iPhone. Few minor changes could include a complete list of items, aside from that I'm hooked.. GREAT APP!!
