Nearly there!

The best shopping list gadget except......

1. It needs a U. K. database soon.

2. to recognise that if you scan say Tesco Digestive Biscuits in, you can edit it so it finds any make of digestive biscuits so you can alter it if you are going to another store.

If these were included it would get 5 stars!

barcode and coupons.

I really like this app, I've tried many shopping app and this one is the best so far, but as a Canadian, it's pretty disappointed because most of the barcodes are not recognized or turned out to be something different. No to mention about coupons, it's useless. Please update your awesome app so canadians can enjoy it as well. Then I'll buy your pro version no time. Thank you.

UK plz

this has the chance of being a very good app just wish there was a UK version to.

so plz make a uk virsion soon till then ill stay with the free virsion that workd ok.

I wanted to like it...

I've been searching for a new shopping list app since the once great Shopper has become a glut of unneeded "features" that slow it down to a crawl and bombards me with ads (even though I paid for the app). I really wanted this to be the one. It has a great features and I'm grateful for the free version so I don't lose money on an app that's doesn't fit my needs.
But in the end the clunky inelegant lists caused me to delete it. There's just too much going on that doesn't need to be there. What should be simple is overly complex. I especially hate the separate screens for "preparing" to shop and actually shopping. Why even do that when you can just add to the main list with a simple + icon? I really dislike the plus/minus buttons on each item. When will app developers learn that feature rich doesn't have to mean clunky, unintuitive interfaces? So my search for the perfect shopping list app continues.

Is bacon a dairy product?

Don't bother, just use a pencil and paper like you always have. Deleted after 10 minutes.

love app works great 

love it more now that I have iPhone. thank you for free app so I could try it before pay for it. thank for adding the barcode scaner. just make sure don't throw away the item before you scan it. You can add item online then tell person log on from there phone to get the list. No more saying wait a min let find a pen & paper. Some of the poor review are really sad. you have play with it and lean the app. one of poor people gave it 1 star saying you can't delete 1 item. sure you can 

Extremely American

This application is actually quite good but somewhat time consuming to enter wanted groceries into. It is extremely USA based with no Australian products. It does take a lot of time to enter 'Australianised' items; but, having said that, I am pleased with the way you can check the items off at the supermarket and am willing to buy the full version to see how it goes. The full application does seem a bit pricey though, compared with other apps that are available.

Not Ultimate

Tried free version but is not the ultimate app as described. An ultimate app should be able to convert units and show you which category item is the better value from which store. This is just a list

Good app

This app seems very good but a little complicated for me. There are simpler free shopping list applications where you just cross items out as you go.

Outstanding

This app is great, especially when there's more than one shopper in the household. The syncing between multiple devices is just fantastic. If only one of us is going to the store they can get all the stuff the other person needs; if both of us go we can split up to get out of there in half the time and while were shopping we can see what the other is getting. No duplicates at the checkout!

And it's NOT too complicated. The people who think thus app is too cumbersome probably have a flashing "12:00" on all their clocks! 

Only complaint is that the current price of the full version ($5) is a little too much for us since that'd be $10 for both phones (what can I say...we're frugal!). Hopefully it'll come back down to $3 and then we'll certainly both upgrade.

Thanks for such a great app! Apple should feature it on one of their commercials!
