Was supposed to be free up to 100 games. I have 17 and I am forced to take a subscription. —- and no I don’t have to pay for it. I deleted it. False advertising is wrong.

Hi Angelys, I think there is a misunderstanding. This app has never been "free up to 100 games". Yes, there was a 100-game trial version in the past, but that was only meant as "try before you buy" version, not for actual permanent use. I am afraid you really have to pay for the app.

Functionality plus!

This is a great app to keep all your games, whatever format you use, in check. Organises into collections if needed so you know which game may be missing in a set or next to buy. It is colourful, detailed and a must have if you love keeping your games.

Dead App

App just killed itself for casual/slow collectors.

No way I’m paying a subscription are you mad?! Previously I planned to purchase the full app after I passed the 100 free titles but now the app is bricked unless I pay. Can’t sync with my account and can’t add anymore games with the online tool. You just lost me as a future customer.

Hi Spamuk, thanks for your feedback on our pricing. There has never been a free app or "free titles". That sounds like may have always been using our free trial edition? That free trial was only ever meant to "try before you buy", not for actual use. Now that the app is a subscription app, we change the free trial to a 7-day free trial, that's all. I am sorry that means we lost you as a future customer.

A subscription service?! Seriously?!

First off, I have already purchased your app, and have loved using it for many years. Even though this change doesn’t affect me, I completely disagree with what you’re doing. It takes a lot of time and work to log your collection on the app, especially when you want to do it properly. You also constantly need to update things as you add games or upgrade condition. I have a very large collection, and I’ve easily spent over 100 hours using your app.

To change your service to be subscription based means you’re locking future customer’s collection lists - often tiring work - behind a paywall. Sure, monthly payments are inexpensive, but a year’s subscription is already more than I originally paid for lifetime use of the app. How does that make any sense?

I would have never used this app if my only choice was a subscription service. There are dozens of alternatives to keeping track of your collection, that don’t require constant payments. I used to recommend your app to people, but now there’s zero chance that’s ever going to happen again.

Nicholas, thanks for your feedback on our pricing. How does this make sense? Well, because it is the only way we can keep providing the continuous service that we always offer, that is, continuous improvements to the app itself, continuous updates to the Core online game database with all new game releases, keeping our online infrastructure up-and-running, fast and secure, then finally providing excellent customer support. FYI: there is an 11-man team working here full-time to provide those services to you. This is not some off-line stand-alone app that you buy once and it just keeps working, like a text editor or a local game. Without the work of the CLZ team, this app would be quite dead in the water. So that is why a subscription is now required, it is no longer feasible to offer our services FOR LIFE for just a single one-time payment. I hope the above helps to understanding our decision to switch to a subscription system.

Screwed over users

Would have preferred to pay for full unlock at a one time price now that is no longer an option. Instead of paying $15 one time you now have to pay every year.

...no thanks. Tired of all those subscription only apps. Uninstalled the app, sad to do so.

Perfect game cataloging tool

I have over 2,000 games across 21 game systems and this app is invaluable in tracking and finding where I put the cartridges and discs along with tracking the expense and preventing me buying duplicate games. A must have for the last decade that I have used it. Vendor also innovative in improving the user experience and best customer support out there.

This company stole my money and deleted all my data on me so that they could start gouging people for a monthly subscription instead of you just paying a one time fee and owning the app like it was when I got it! If they screwed me, they’ll screw you too,.. do not waste your money getting bent over by these liars!!!

Super easy to add games

Very slick app - lets you add games for tons of platforms/consoles to your wish list and collection lists. I make sure my CLZ apps are all synced up and uptodate when I go shopping.

Great app!

I enjoy using this app since it keeps game’s values around the correct amount and up to date. I mainly enjoy this app because of being able to catalog my games and have them in different sections and what not. It is very organized.

I had a recent problem (which was easily solved) using the app and reached out to support. I was helped within minutes. The support was extremely helpful, and told me of a feature I wasn’t aware of.
