Not Enough Local News, Updates too Slow
As a resident of Riverside County for 43 years, I had often relied on the PE to provide up to date and local information. Today, the news is slow and for local coverage, virtually non-existent. Since the buy out by the parent company of the OC Register, I thought the PE would follow the lead of the Register, but not even close. The PE rarely covers breaking news and never anything local for my small city; Corona. If I want up to date info on breaking news, I just turn to the news sites as they have more information. Not worth it anymore
No more local news via cities or regions as before. Only news within the last 24 hours. No searching for news. Not even close to the feel of reading their actual newspaper. Just a "P.E.-Lite" news source. Can just go to their website or other sources for better news.
Last straw... found a local story ran in the national new today and went to this app for more details and found nothing. Worthless app. Deleted.Show lessOccasional gamer88
Works but has no local news information.
App works great provides news article formthe inland empire area. They removed the local news by city and changed it to a useless collection of news centered around riverside, and temecula primarily. Not able to find any news about your own city unless it make national news level. I want my local news back.Show lessAmerican by birth, Western by Choice.

Good coverage for Riverside & San Bernardino Counties. I wish you could get more coverage on local events without having to check everyday. I check every few days and can miss some stuff.SoCalDolFan

The Perfect Newspaper App
This app is simply amazing, especially with the new overhaul to the interface. Everything is quickly accessible and easy to read. I love the new focus on images as well. The way they have been utilized for thumbnails has enticed me to read and get interested in other sections of the paper that I originally thought I would have little interest in.
