PortoCheck stellt in einem übersichtlichen, intuitiven Interface Portogebühren für Pakete und Briefe dar.
Einzigartig ist der Paketpreis-Vergleich: anhand der genauen Paketgröße und des Paketgewichts werden die Gebühren von der Deutschen Post/DHL, Hermes, DPD und GLS gleichzeitig dargestellt und können verglichen werden. Deutschland- und europaweit! Die nächste Paket-Filiale kann mit einem Klick auf der Anbieterseite gesucht werden.
Für Briefe (Deutsche Post) können verschiedenen Parameter wie Format, Gewicht und Ziel (Deutschland, EU und Welt) eingegeben werden. Die anfallenden Portogebühren werden unmittelbar dargestellt.
Sonderformate und Optionen wie Einschreiben, Büchersendung, Warensendung, Päckchen und Postkarte.
Es wird keine Internetverbindung benötigt. Daher auch für iPod Touch Besitzer uneingeschränkt zu benutzen.
