Love this station
I love that I can stream this station on my phone. I pretty much listen to KGSR and KXT in Dallas. They both play great music and lots of local talent. When I drive to Austin I get excited when I am in range of KGSR and change the dial!!!
Nothing compares
There is no other radio station like this. XM needs to syndicate it so I can hear it in my car. After living away from TX for 23 years, I still can't find a station that dares to play what they want without catering to the tawdry appetites of stoners.
Music junkie
I visited Austin a couple times and was lucky enough to find kgsr. It immediately turned into one of my favorite commercial stations. Who'd thought a Minnesota boy with alternative influences would find a musical oasis in Austin? Cool station!
This app makes me cry tears of joy
I miss Austin so much. I'm on the other side of the country for college and nothing brings me to tears more then Kelly Jordan's voice and personality. I discovered Kgsr in the beginning of high school and listened to him every morning drive. This station defines Austin and plays honest to god great music weather it'd be mainstream or some unheard of artist slowly climbing the ladder. I never have to worry about hearing the same playlist. Although they favor more songs than others, I can't think of another radio station that's actually worth the commercials.

I use the app when I'm home or traveling, and have never had any issues.
Having the best station in the country with me wherever I travel is awesome!! There is never a need to attempt to find a "local" station or subscribe to any of the national services!

I absolutely love the new design. It adds a lot of new features, like the lyrics and concert info for the song playing, which is awesome. Since I don't currently live in Austin, it's nice to be able to still listen to my favorite radio station when I'm away!

I echo the sentiment of several reviewers,KGSR is a great station that I love to listen to when I drive thru Austin and I love the app so now I can listen anytime but you need to keep the music fresh.

Love the mix of new, unique and classic music. No issues with crashes, etc. love that I can see the last 10 songs played.
Great station for Texas music
Closest thing to being in Austin! I remember when I lived in Austin and heard the "new" radio station, KGSR. I started listening and never quit, even when I moved away, thanks to online streaming. Never had a significant problem with the app.
