KGSR
I discovered this station while driving from DFW to Austin 2 years ago and have listened ever since. They are months ahead for new music and artists, I listen at work, in the car and whenever possible.
Fine app for great station
I listen via this app daily as I live out of the Austin area in the land of no decent radio. I use the alarm feature to wake up every morning. My only dissatisfaction with that is having to leave my iPad plugged in because the alarm has to stay on full alert to function. I would use a sleep timer if that were added.
I like the list of recently played songs with the purchase options, and I have wondered why that sometimes hangs and stays unchanged for several songs in a row.
While there is some room to improve, I have no complaints about an app and a service that provides me with hours of radio happiness.

Does not auto rotate anymore
The app does not auto rotate anymore on my iPad, I like using this app to listen to my favorite station, I usually use the iPad stand so I can take the iPad with me while I am working, but now it just shows up in the default mode. Please update so the auto rotate works again.
KGSR
Any chance I get to listen to KGSR, I always enjoy the mix. I've tried to locate another station in the DFW area. But there isn't one that compares in variety, Texas artists, cutting edge sound, classics, etc! I am always trying to share with friends & family about the great sounds coming from Austin.

What I missed about Austin
I'm so glad to be able to take my favorite radio station with me to my new hometown. It's one of the things I missed most when I left Austin! The app works great, streams reliably

Great mix of old and new music. The app works flawless and I like being able to see the play list.

Best station for travel
I travel quite a bit and I love that I can still feel connected to home and listen to my favorite radio station. All of our out of town friends have downloaded the app and love the music as well!
Now blocked in the uk!
Tragic.... Nothing wrong with the app... Except it is still on the uk store but won't work here... The best radio station in the world, but now blocked from all uk listeners. Presumably lawyers stepped in to ensure all this marvellous music is kept from us and we are forced to listen to British radio which offers nothing remotely similar. Very sad and extremely annoying!

Radio My Way
A good friend if mine lives in Austin part time, and in Maine the other half. Recently, she rec'd the iPhone & I showed her how she could find her favorite radio station if they had an app. Wa la! KGSR had the App! She was thrilled as she could listen to it as she traveled back for the winter. I'm in Maine & I take turns listening to KGSR & my Maine station which is similar; WCLZ 98.9. Both offer up eclectic & classic favs that don't make you want to change the station. It's hard to find this kind of genre while traveling. Not to mention, you aren't plagued with the normal static of the signals coming in & out! Keep up the great work KGSR!
