Best CHM Reader for IPAD and IPhone
By far the best software for both IPAD and IPhone. Added functionality for highlighting makes work so easy. Please! Need a Mac version urgently. Then will upgrade you guys to a five star. ;)fire_n_ice
Not working after upgrading to latest version
This is a great software, I have been using it for the last 4 months without any trouble, I upgraded it this morning and when I started opening up my book, it stuck at the loading screen with the loading icon, no matter what I tried, it is always stuck there, making this app unusable right now. Please quickly post an update to fix this problem. I need it to read some of my books. Thanks so much.Show lessCeasurfer
Great but with flaw
It supports reflow and uploading using wifi is very easy. Finally I can enjoy reading programming books on my iPhone.
One serious flaw, though, is that touching figures in CHMate makes it not responsive. I wish this problem can be fixed in future updates.bokertov
Good stable CHM Reader; Needs Searching
Good app that works on both my iPod and iPad. It lets me load multiple CHM files into memory (through either wifi or syncing). All my files read well. I haven't had any problems with stability. I appreciate the ability to highlight and bookmark sections.
One very important function that needs to be available to get a 5 star rating is the ability to search through a whole file (or even better across multiple CHM files). Currently you are only able to search either the table of contents or a single entry. I am not able to search the entire CHM file which is a severe limitation.Show lessJacob Hantla

Great app but with some bugs!!
It's a very great app with everything I expected but it has some bugs!!!
When I was reading a large chm(Harrison's Internal Medicine) file with that, I realized that the app is unable to load some chapters of the book!!

Best CHM reader
After having used a bunch of CHM readers I settled down on CHMate. The price is a bit steep compared to something like GoodReader but the app offers a lot of font customization options and, most importantly, a consistent thought out Apple UI compliant non-distracting interface that doesn't get in the way of reading. Very good
A previous user stated he couldn't upload multiple documents, you can as long as you get rid of the free version first. App brings a great look to chm and they begin to feel like extended PDFs great! Think the gallery option may crash but I don't use it anyway. Great app particularly overall layout.Show lessKimdix

Well worth the $13. Thanks and keep the updates coming. I'd like a double tap to next page feature on the iPad version like the iPhone. Otherwise it's sweet.lbtron
Limited by illustrations
Reader function works well, handles the text formatting well. Easy to import books etc.
The big let down with this app is its handling of figures. Only the first 20 or so in a section display. There are then a few replaced with blue crosses that you can click on and get a pop up of the figure and the rest of them are blank and the image can not be viewed.
I use the app for carrying around surgical and anatomy reference texts, the above makes the app pretty useless.
I put in a support request and was advised it is due to the iPads memory limitation. This does not explain why the rest of the images are not available as pop ups or suggest a future fix such as making all images pop up to preserve memory or a method for subdividing sections on import to address this.
Given the price, these issues should have been addressed by now.Show lessmikerwh
