Solid, useable app. Not perfect .. yet.
When the e-mail came out saying that Date Wheel was available for my iPhone, I jumped on it immediately. I had been using it on my Palm T|X and loved it. It's not one of those apps you're going to use every day, but when you do it is really handy. With the purchase of my iPhone, I have been accumulating apps to replace the ones I used on the Palm, so getting Date Wheel was a no-brainer. There are a couple of minor differences between the way the app works on the Palm, and on the iPhone. Delightfully, though ... when I addressed this to Creative Algorithms, I not only got an immediate and personal note back from Justine, but she addressed my concern specifically, recognizing that there might be room for change. What a concept! A company with humility, interested in making their app better. With only a couple of minor changes dealing with saving a date calculation, I'd give this app 5 stars in a heartbeat. As it is, I almost feel guilty giving them 4 stars.Show lessFoothill Writer
Date Wheel
Nice for what it does. The lock feature does not seem to work - I can easily change dates after locking. I would like to know my durations while on the calculations page- especially when I want count downs. It appears you have to look at each item separately. One could colorixe the durations to infer time (days/weeks/etc).Show lessKltdefer
Great - simple, useful program.
I have been a fan of this program since the Palm days. I still use the palm application and this will make a nice addtion to my itouch. I use this daily for automotive planning and meeting discussion regarding program timing. They have web based versions for other mobile devices and your PC.Chris Rotta
Well designed
Nice clean interface. Good use of graphics. Lots of features laid out in an intuitive way. Best of this class of app I have seen so far. Well worth the price.JinSeattle
Great implementation
I have had DateWheel since the days when Palm Pilot was the PIM to own. It simply calculates time bewteen 2 dates but is really handy, and with the "bookmarks"... must have for project managers or anyone wanting to know just how many more days before the target.Dakarum
One of the most useful apps
I'm pleased one of my favourite apps has made it to the App Store. Very useful, and should be preinstalled on all new devices.Sammual James
