This app is useful. It has some "common" tunings, is easy to understand and is stable. My only suggestion is to remove the "i" and the ads.misterkrinkle
Bass tuner
Works as advertised. Put in your ear buds, plug in your bass and tune it up. No distortion as someone mentioned. Harmonics are true and "waver" when you are not it tune. Great app! Thanks.IC34

I'll admit, I love this app, I have an adaptor where I can plug in my iPod to my amp, so I can tune with the app and then play songs off iTunes. It would just be awesome if you added multiple tuning along with the standard tuning. Because I play a lot of songs in drop d and c and this would be very helpful instead of having to actually use a plug in tuner.Show lessLemon Sqeez

Good, but not great
It's a simple app and could use a little more, but so far its worked well for me. It tends to be off by a bit, but that might be me. Follow cullengreer on twitter for bass tips.Shananananananananananananana
Helpful hint
On the iphone make sure you turn off vibrate or you will not hear anything with or without earbuds. Also compared the notes to my Steinway piano -- pretty spot on.CZ0000

Clarity, volume, option
Volume, barely audible.
Clarity, even with headphones iphone and same for ipod touch, not clear enough to tune from, doesn't help that I couldn't hear it
