  • Excellent APP

My first time attending the US Open. Won’t be the last . And this app served to enhance the enjoyment of the event both there and at home . Lots of great info , stats, and pictures. Every grand slam event should have it if they don’t already . Obviously some very talented people put this app together. My kudos to them .

  • Perfection

My wife and I have been coming to the Open for thirty years and the improvements are nothing short of magical. Armstrong, Grandstand, court 17 and all the rest of the facilities are beautiful. We have also visited your National Training Campus in Orlando where we hope you (USTA) are able to return American men’s tennis to greatness. The ladies are already there.

Our only complaint are your prices, both the ticket prices and food and beverages. Not every spectator is a hedge fund manager with “1” percent salary to splurge on box seats and champagne. Tennis has become an “every mans” sport for the masses and the costs to the average fan needs to reflect this.

Thanks for all you do to promote this great sport.

  • Not as user friendly as previous versions

I’m not a fan of the app. The grounds info section is difficult to use - I was much better off with the printed version. Also the way the courts appear doesn’t make a lot of sense, seems almost random order which made it difficult to follow what was going on when all the courts are in play.
  • Overall Good App

I would like to see more video content inclusive of doubles.
  • Best of the Slam apps by far

I won’t rehash what lots of people have said already. Is it 100% perfect? Of course not, but it’s very deep once you know how to get around. What sets this app apart from the other Slam apps is stats—and by stats I mean IBM powered megastats that tell you anything you could possibly want to know about a player, match, individual set... like how far a player ran on average per point. That’s coach-level info you won’t find anywhere else. Bravo! And it’s free! I keep it open on my iPad while I watch the matches on ESPN+, and switch off between the two. Love it.

  • Good but could be better (update)

Update saturday 9/1 - I enabled push notifications. The problem is it has no controls options for match start, mid-match scores, final scores. MLB app knows how to do this well. I want to be reminded when a match starts, but not learn blow by blow scores before i’ve watched a recorded match or am a few minutes behind in real time while watching. So, today, I accidentally glance at my phone to learn Madison Keys won 3rd set 6-2, while I was still watching at 3-2. Dang. Have to shut off push notications. Pretty useless.

On friday (8/31) video of matches wasn’t working on LTE. Favorites are great, but all favorites should be accessible from a pull down menu option in the players tab, not just embedded all the way down at the very bottom of the settings menu. I’m on iphone 8 plus ios 11.4.1

  • Radio

Everything is great except for the radio. The sound quality is poor to the point where I can hardly hear what they are saying even with the volume up all the way. Not sure if the analysts aren’t talking close enough to the mic or if the quality is just that bad.
  • No information on individual sets

I love seeing performance in each set. The stats give information for all sets/play
  • Great Info

This App has kept me up to date with all the scores and has given me the opportunity to watch highlights of the top matches played in the Open. It’s the only way of keeping in touch with the US Open FREE of charge as I am unable to watch it LIve on tv without paying a fee.
  • US OPEN.

I have to say I preferred the us open on Eurosport. More Court Coverage! Easier to Access too. But having said that I am really enjoying us open.👍👏😁🎾🎾🎾🎾
