Multi purchase problem 1 Star only

Yesterday at the AH store at Westergracht Haarlem, I was accused of not scanning an item, the problem brought about by the AH app multi purchase button. The store have an offer of 2 Pies for €5.00, I choose 2 pies I Kip and 1 Vlees, I scan the vlees pie and then press the + sign for the second pie so as far as I am concerned I have scanned 2 pies.
When I get to the payment terminal I have a security check, the assistant scans the Kip pie and said you have not scanned this I must do a full check of you basket, eventually she completes the scan finding I have a similar problem with 2 Alimof puddings where I have scanned 1 and then pressed the +sign. It was explained to me that I had not scanned two items but I had scanned two items twice so actually everything was correct and that I had scanned correctly but not in the way Albert Heijn needed me to scan. This simple problem caused me a lot of frustration and the AH employee a total waste of time in having to unpack all of my purchases and me having to repack all my purchases, not a good experience, and very embarrassing being told this in the middle of the store. My suggestion is that the + option is removed from the App and this problem would be resolved, everything would be scanned the way AH require to work with their stock control system.
As I was leaving the checkout area there was another lady suffering the same problem. Finally I would say I have been using the App for some time and have found it to work very well.

Good app, easy to navigate even with minimal to zero Dutch! This app will help you learn! Can I request a dark mode, Scottish shortbread and more haggis, alsjeblieft en dank je wel!

Why isn’t the app in English? The app could be better if the layout was rearranged.

Need to have an English option and a way to rate the delivery service

Sometimes your delivery guys are increasingly rude and I would like you to know how they behave with your clients.

No wallet pass & no English

Really nice app and useful. I also love the UI and how easy it is to use the app.
However I wish it has english version and
I wish I could add my bonus card to apple wallet.

Still waiting for an English version

It’s quite complex if you don’t know Dutch.

Great app. It would be better if there is English option.
