essential app
Tried to contact developer through the app, which is in the settings. Problem is, no email ever popped up, so I’m leaving feedback here.
Filtering by playlists isn’t available in this version, but filtering by genres is. The app doesn’t see the playlists. Or perhaps there’s a toggle in settings that’s broken. Hope this is fixable and if so, fixed soon.Show lessThe Last Man 56
Defeats the Purpose
This app has a nice interface and seems to be better than some others at picking truly random selections, but it is worse than the free apps when it comes to maintaining a playlist. I want to shuffle albums on my car stereo with some continuity (actually listening to a whole album followed by another). If I get out of the car for a few hours and do some other things on my phone, this app “forgets” the playlist it had going. I don’t want to start a new shuffle every day, or even multiple times in a day.Show lessegret86
Useful features that should be standard
This app has useful features that should have been standard in Apple's music player. Since they are not this app is great.
Beware that as of the current version 1.22 filters are unreliable and you may end up hearing stuff that should have been filtered out. I contacted the developer about this so hopefully it gets fixed.

Great job Michael, my old iPod classic would shuffle albums. Although the new iPod touch doesn't have this feature. Thanks to this great app I can once again listen to albums in their "completeness". Brilliant.Jls2392
Very good app
Does exactly as it says on the tin. It's first album shuffler that has suited my classical music only gendre. It shuffles through the entire collection well, not giving too much of one particular composer.
Well done Mr Blakeley, although I don't know why Apple didn't think about putting an album shuffle mode on the Ipod Touch, epecially when there was a perfectly good one incuded with the Ipod Classic.Show lessSpringwater511
Nice idea, but ...
I really want to like this, but there is a flaw in the randomization algorithm. The same group of about 20 albums (maybe more or less, I've never tried to count) is shuffled over and over and re-shuffling simply changes the order rather than loading a new group of albums. So if you wait long enough you just end up listening to the same things over and over again while the majority of music on your device is ignored. This is the only thing that is stopping me from using it regularly.Show lessExbone
