This is a solid app. I did not expect to get as much information from this app as I did. Very inclusive. This works great for theory or composition classes. There isn't anything bad to say about it.
I think this app would be even better if it played the scales and chords for you. That would be great for practicing ear training. I would also like to see some common chord progressions.

This app is really helping me in my music theory class!! It's everything you need! It needs a feature tht allows you hear the scale though. Perhaps in an update?
Excellent reference/learning tool
I'm currently learning piano and this is great for looking up chords and scales. It's amazing how much info is packed into the app.
The interface is clear and nicely designed.
The developer seems very responsive to suggestions so I am sure there are even better developments to come.

Très bonne application
Je fais de l'impro jazz et je peux vous dire que cette application est la meilleure. Très direct, pas de roulette ou de sous-menus. Seulement les gammes nécessaires, accords, renversements... Je ne donne pas 5 étoiles car je veux m'assurer que les développeurs ajoutent des surprises!

Octavian is a very handy keyboard chord/scale reference that is perfect for the studio - quickly look up a chord/scale without stopping your workflow with the convenience of the iPhone/iTouch small footprint. App is quick, easy, and very hand for musicans of all calibre.

Totally freakn cool that someone devised a scale/chord app for keyboard players. Haven't found any problems with any scales yet so I am assuming its accurate. This is an absolute no brainer to download. Best 3 bucks I ever spent.
