Pretty average
I gotta say, I expected more from an official club app. The "in-game text commentary" is very slow and often way behind the actual game, so if you want up-to-date scores, you're better off looking elsewhere. Nice highlights clips, but they take a long time to load.
The best thing is the news section. But you can get all this off the official website anyway.
All up, this is a very average app. Perhaps the new club owners could give this an overhaul ... it needs it.

Review
Works fine for me so far, I've had it for a week. The news is quite slow to come through, and highlights are of "classic" matches rather than the latest highlights. The best thing about this app is the live commentary, not overly detailed but great if you can't get infront of a tele to watch the match. If your not going to use this feature I wouldn't justify spending $6.90 and would just use the Liverpool website.

iOS 4.0 Update - app still broken
This is a sad day for Reds fans. I jumped on this app straight away and loved it until I got my iPhone 4 and as you all know the app crapped out. Patiently I awaited the update fix and when it came...disappointment! The app still fails to work and now throws multiple errors before it loads, then flashes the familiar home screen before displaying a perpetual blank screen. Please please fix this app already. We fans need our LFC fix and as paying customers deserve better then this for the five spot we dropped to purchase it! Until it is fixed I cannot recommend this app and feel compelled to tell everyone I see not to purchase it either.

New update
The new update has fixed the problems you have remove the app from your iPhone and then reinstall it, it works fine know.

I was among the first few people who downloaded this app when it was released month ago. I was excited back then, knowing that an official LFC app was finally available on the app store but frankly speaking, I grew bored of it after a month & started going to external websites (like goal, soccernet, etc) just to check up on the latest news. I've noticed that loading speed has quite improved now, but the UI is still the same - plain, dull, not catchy at all.. Im hoping the developers will consider redesigning its interface to fit news headings (rather than a link) & probably add more options if possible (transfer rumours perhaps?). Aside from Liverpool, the only club app I own is Madrid, & although its not the best either, at least its much easier & faster to navigate around than this app. As a lifelong LFC supporter, please make some major changes & make our moneys worth :(

Worked fine for a week then would no longer open. Reported problem and tried developer website. 4 months and still no courtesy of a resonse. Theives if you ask me. Save your money.

Improvements Needed
You'd expect better for a $5 official LFC app. I have to launch it twice for it to work properly - the first launch always boots me back to my main screen. Media center (especially highlights) should be updated more regularly. Overall speed in browsing through the different pages in the app is also pretty sluggish.
A good idea, but it really needs a lot of improvements. Sad to see that the last update was back in January.

Slow & lacking
Very slow app and I am still waiting for new video. Do the right thing and give us a refund.

I jumped at the chance of being able to watch highlights and get every news available.. Turns out there is only 1 video of last season's game against man utd... This application is not updated regularly.
