Slightly better, content out of date
I dont know why this app seems to have content that is completely different and out of date compared to what's on the LFC website.
I'm a subscriber to the site and expected to see the same videos that are on the "videos" section of the site in the "videos" section of the app. Not the case. The app videos are all old and out of date.
Same thing with the news, it's all old and out of date. Just write the app to pull the content from the site and format it to look nice on the device.
Write/make the content once and update it simultaneously everywhere. Just change the format of the content depending how the user is accessing it. This isn't a new concept. Why update them separately? Makes no sense.
Much better looking than the old app, but that's not saying much. I hate to sound bitter, but when you're website (which isn't formatted for mobile) is still much more useful than a native app you spent time making. I'd call that a failure. Better but not there yet...
This app has improved so much over the previous versions as it was then almost unusable! Now at least the news are updated when the app is relaunched and it doesn't crash as much as before.
However, the navigation IMO fails to do what would seem to be simple to achieve. I hate the part when it takes more than a click (touch) to see the results and fixtures.
But it's still a good improvement and hence four stars from me.Show lessiBest
iOS 4.0 Update - app still broken
This is a sad day for Reds fans. I jumped on this app straight away and loved it until I got my iPhone 4 and as you all know the app crapped out. Patiently I awaited the update fix and when it came...disappointment! The app still fails to work and now throws multiple errors before it loads, then flashes the familiar home screen before displaying a perpetual blank screen. Please please fix this app already. We fans need our LFC fix and as paying customers deserve better then this for the five spot we dropped to purchase it! Until it is fixed I cannot recommend this app and feel compelled to tell everyone I see not to purchase it either.Show lessSe7enth
Improvements Needed
You'd expect better for a $5 official LFC app. I have to launch it twice for it to work properly - the first launch always boots me back to my main screen. Media center (especially highlights) should be updated more regularly. Overall speed in browsing through the different pages in the app is also pretty sluggish.
A good idea, but it really needs a lot of improvements. Sad to see that the last update was back in January.Show lessmigsevilla
Great Layout, Current Version Slow
Even on wifi, this app is the pokiest on my iPhone. On 3G, it was unusable, and just about locked up my iPhone, so much so I deleted it. I used Twitter updates to keep up with the Wolves game while on the road today -- in game updates are what that this app should be awesome at. Right now it is too dang slow, and that is a shame, because this is a very cool app.
Apparently help is on the way. The app description says a "faster" update is coming. If the developers solve (not just address or improve) this problem, this will be a top-notch app. Until then, only three stars.Show lessDrobs
Great app, needs some content
The app is very well done but there are few choices for media clips to play. I'm sure this will be rectified as more content is made available, but the limited number of media files available now is the only thing that takes this review down from 5 to 4 stars.PortClintonScouser
LFC APP
Great app, I would like this app to include the eseason ticket so you can see videos, its the 1.0 release so you can complain too much but in either way it is still very good. You can keep track of all of the matches that are being played for example the premiership and the champions league see news and interviews from players all in one place. I would recommend this app for all Reds fans but they still need to add some features. I give it a 5 out of 5 because this is an amazing start for an app for Liverpool FC fans.Show lessjjdemoya
