Brilliant!
This is an amazing tool. The simplicity of only having to tap one button to get access to so many words spoken so clearly is amazing to me. I have struggled with language-decoding words, pronunciation and spelling all my life. Now, I'm willing to take the extra five seconds to type in the word and the results have been amazingly empowering. As a University instructor I have always been slightly embarrassed by my learning disability regarding language, now I openly use this in and out of the classroom and my life is better for it.Show lessby Francie
Unbelievably great and complete
I can hardly think enough wonderful things to say about this pronouncing dictionary. Without exception it handles the most incredibly rare and complicated words.
For instance tonight I had it pronounce fluocinonide and acetonide. Acetonide does not even appear in my best dictionaries! Yet, how do you say pronounced them both wonderfully.
Since I care about saying things correctly, I use this app constantly. Rush out and get it. :-)Show lessEben.Visher
Great app
This is a wonderful application to have on your phone. It contains many words that some you wouldn’t think would be included. I initially found these guys online when I tried to find pronunciations for the medications and other medical terms. It was very helpful and I wanted to have this reference in my pocket at any time. Great App overall but with just a slight of an error
It's a very convenient app and that pronounces many words (some are not even in the dictionary) with just a type at a touch screen away. It uses real human voice and there's no advertisment nor pop ups at all.
With this say, I know I should have given this a 5 start rating, but I have to take a star out because when I try to have it pronounce "Hydroxylation" it wouldn't pronounce it, instead, there's a popup that said "Audio Error - Attempt to play streaming audio failed." And it doesn't have the word, "Metakaolin"
Overall, I am very satisfy that I brought this app but I would also appreciate that the owner/programmer fix that slight error.Show lessLaOdette
