good but not finished

it doesn't give feedback if it finished tracerouting or not. does the job but it seems slow.

No longer works

It's not that the trace times out; it never gets started. Retina iPad; latest OS. App used to work. Deleting.

Doesnt work

It used to work now it doesn't. It doesn't do anything. App now deleted

Works on all my devices

Not really sure why so many people are poo pooing this app...it works fine-has a nice geomap to see routes. works good for me! I have tried it on iPod touch iPhone 3GS, 4,4S,5s, iPad 1&2 and no problems.

Buggy app

Several issues:
1) At my home location, didn't determine my location automatically, did not offer me any way to fix that, and then wouldn't trace a route because of it.
2) Showed locations on the wrong continent from where they existed, often repeating one location for many different ones that followed.
3) Bounced all over the place, often back and forth between same two locations a dozen times.
4) On one connection, went half-way across the country to ISP headquarters, then back to local server, before running the rest of the trace.

A waste of drive space (.5M), for the most part. Nice concept, but not designed well, not debugged thoroughly.

What is this?

Totally in accurate
Wrong trace result
Incorrect data

Is this app for real?

Getting there

Not bad but not excellent either. Flaws include:

- lower quality address database than alternatives
- map is fixed rectangle so route from NZ to US goes wrong way around the world
- scrolling/sizing the map loses the routes temporarily
- odd routes at time - e.g. two separate routes with no join

Nice but missing

No legend as to why there are red, green and purple pins. Hard to tell when trace is finished since there's no "end" indicator.
Did not map every relay, but gave enough for general purpose.
The add is just below the small icon for listing so easy to click on the add. From list to map (Google) is easier with a button at top of screen. Would like to see the button at top going from map to list.

Nice

Thanks. Seems to work quite well.

If you're energetic, it'd be nice if it was easier to zoom into an area to view closely-spaced way-points.

Great little app

I like it. Heres what it needs- it should traceroute your destination continuously and plot the time changes on each leg and show you where the slow links are. Also, it should tally packet loss on each leg and disply it as a percentage. Then it would be really useful to us networking folks and I would buy it.
