Exactly what I'd expect from HybridWorks
I've know HybridWorks for quite some time for their icons and wallpapers for computers, all of which are very high quality for being free. The quality of this app is exactly what I've come to expect from them and the latest update is fantastic. Every last piece of artwork is carefully detailed and looks beautiful. It is a wonderful clock. The only thing I'd say it's missing is an alarm clock feature.Show lessStephen J. Weber

This is so beautiful, and relaxing...well done graphics - LOVE the new items!!! I think the sky is too white, it should be a little blue to distinguish the spring and winter trees better... and I'd love to see another item added - background music, shakacuchi(sp?) or koto music...I'd also love to see some of the screens available in black frames rather than the wood color...but as it is, it's sooo beautiful...in a moment of stress, I love to look at this scene and relax. This is a true work of art and I am so glad I got it. I am hoping an update will let us explore even more.
I know the beautiful outdoors is what it's all about, but I would feel even more like I was there if I could see the interior of the room.
Thank you for creating this unique app.
Update: the update is fun and interactive and so beautiful it took my breath away. I love it.
I still want to see more of the interior. It would be amazing if you could scroll around and see the other side of the room. (But maybe I am partially missing the point. It's wonderful the way it is.)

I don't know where to begin!!!!!!!!!! This update is EXQUISITE!!!! WHAT A MASTERPIECE OF PERFECTION. So very ZEN like!!!! Totally serene and JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! I would give this app a 50 star rating if I could!!!!! What a perfect update!!!! So very peaceful and relaxing. I LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH! It was a favorite of mine for soooooooo long- and now- it is at a whole new level of PURE BEAUTY. Such a STELLAR UPDATE!!!!! The ability to have control over the settings now are awesome. It would be GREAT if we could have ALOT more interaction with the room setting. Like being able to move the pillows around, or different KINDS of PLANTS- maybe BAMBOO plants. How about some BEAUTIFUL choices of soft ZEN MUSIC!!!! A previous review suggested a whole different kind of setting- like a GARDENA GARDEN with a POND!!!!

Perfect....now all it needs is...
Perfect simply amazing and this app is perfect for those Japanese culture lovers.....
The update was Awesome and it is just like the real deal.....
Now all it needs is more interactivity such as:
1: Being able to zoom in at the water and maybe even play with the water or enjoy the view with lotus, yuri plants, maybe put some animated frogs or fish... And if it's a hot springs....make the water animiated to look like a hot springs not a pond......
2: more interactivity with the accessories like the tea and the pillows...
3: Sleep timer....so that when one falls asleep the app would stop when the imputed time is depleted...
4: Sleep Mode....allow the app to be still in use when IPod is locked.....(saves battery and allows one to sleep with this running)
5: (bonus) The ability to go into the hotsprings to at least give us a feel of comfort.......
6: The ability to turn off the lighting...I mean when you put out the candles at night the room still looks like there is a light on......and to be able to turn the background lights off would be awesome...so that you can better enjoy the summer fireflies.....and it also gives a better feel for the night mode....
7: love the rain and thunder but where is the lightning? Would give a cool stormy feel especially at night where the lightning shines through the shoji and gives a flash in the room....cool...
