Inaccurate distance measuring

I don’t think that this app is very accurate. My other friend was using strava on the same run as me but at the end of the run I had apparently ran 300 metres less than him and had a slower pace than him even though I ended up finishing the run about 30 seconds ahead of him… might switch to strava for more accurate results until I know this is correct

After the update, I can't recover my account.

I enter my email and request a password reset; it says that the reset email has been sent, but nothing arrives. As an experiment, I entered a random, non-existent email, and it says the same thing. How can I recover my account after using it for 4 years???

UPD: Yes, I reached out to support, asking them to check my account. In response, I got recommendations from some guy named Robert to follow a link, reset my password by entering my email, and check my spam folder. I replied, letting him know I did everything and nothing happened. Robert completely ignored my message. Five days later, I left another message on the site, explaining what had happened, and, surprise surprise, Robert sent me the same link to reset my password again.

So, in conclusion: no one cares, especially Robert—he’s clearly deeply invested.

Discrimination

I’ve been using this app for the last 8 or so years, back then it was called Runtastic. My experience was great, I recorded thousands of km of runs, my whole running journey was recorded on this app. Until recently, they deleted my account WITHOUT ANY NOTICE WHATSOEVER. No warnings inside the app, no emails, no nothing.

Then I googled it and turns out you deleted all Russian accounts on March 2024. I had a couple of runs in Russia, but the account was registered in Belarus, I’ve been living in Canada for the past 5 years, my Apple ID is Canadian. Besides, why couldn’t you just notify me about wiping my account of? I could’ve just transferred the data to a different app. Instead, all my runs, PRs, routes, just disappeared. I can’t even reach out to customer success to resolve the issue.

Running plans

I initially subscribed to the Adidas running app (paid) because they had excellent and helpful running plans that allowed you to follow the plan whether you were outside using GPS or logging it on the treadmill. I have tried out many plans the last few years and all of them have been excellent. I recently got back into running once again. Three weeks in to this new plan, the treadmill option to follow my running plan is no longer available and will only allow me to do the running plan if I’m using GPS features. Given I live in an area where there is fluctuating heat and weather patterns, running outside is only possible half or less of the time. I’m a little disappointed and will be changing to a different app/paid service so that I can follow a running plan that allows me more flexibility.

Runtastik was so much better. I had the pro version and with the buyout I lost all my privileges.

Not Consistent

50% it starts late from my Apple Watch. Inaccurate live heart rate. Tried many time and every 6 months hope it works but it doesn’t. I now use other apps to track running activities.

Can’t log in after update

Since the update, I haven’t been able to log back in and don’t get an email to reset password…….sooooo frustrating 😡

Prior to this have loved it and had no issues but now my Premium Membership is a waste as I can’t access it, yet I still receive emails about my progress 😳
Trying to find who to contact to get help is an issue so if someone can help that would be greatly appreciated
