  • App falls way short of potential

This app has all the ingredients to be something good: stock prices news analysis and more.

Unfortunately, they managed to foul up the train wreck: Half the news stories are celebrity gossip, not market news. It is difficult to browse headlines on this app, they feed you the stories they want you to see them only those stories. For every story that they do provide, it is buried in 40 or 50 Clickbait ads. Search results are very poor. It’s difficult to go back if you click on the wrong thing.

In short, I hate this app. It is frustrating to use for anything other than following one or two stocks or indexes.

  • Sound and up to the minute information!

I have just begun reading Market Watch News. I am very appreciative of all the wonderful retirement finance information. Political informations seems unbiased. How great to be able to access of the comings and goings of Netflix by the month! I continue to look forward to the availability of this reliable information! Thank you!!

  • Sucks

App is not optimized. Cant scroll down on my iphone. Very glitchy as well. Do the developers dont even test this on their own phone ?!!!

Your prompting me every 5 seconds to answer if I like your site. Annoying to say the least. Also when I scroll your site, it is too easy to inadvertently open an article.
  • Good but buggy

I love this app but am only giving it three stars because it’s buggy/glitchy on iPhone. At least, it is on the new iPhone xr, the app probably just needs an update. The back button (top left) only works ~50% of the time, and the top-of-the-screen menu icons are overlayed over the iPhone’s: i.e. I can’t read the time on my iPhone through the MW menu tab... I’ll give 5stars once these issues are fixed

  • Ads

This app was great until the impossibly intrusive cmc banner ad takes to off the app to safari every single time you move to a different stock or article. It even happens when you start it up rendering the app utterly useless. Absolutely infuriating. We are advertised to 24 hours per day give it a rest.

  • Obscured but respectable

I am using this app as a student for the virtual stock market game, so apologies if my review does not meet the standard of what others may use for this app.

Firstly even for using it for the stock market game, selecting it simply brings me to the internet version of the site, ironically the better option! With my main drive for even installing the app in the first place down the drain I will say simply navigating trough the app and using it as a regular was very..... very ok. It seemed to be unoptimized for iPhoneX and up which caused a few UI issues, but I looked away from those and relied strictly on content. This app just overall seems overtaken completely by the web client version and beyond, more or less just a show that you have the app. For recreational usage and “a regular experience” however... it manages to barley get the job done. Some strange user interface glitches and hassles at times, but delivers exactly what it shows; nothing more nothing less. An app that I would probably recommend to a curious individual or someone who needs it as a quicker alternative to the web version, but should not be overlooked from its difficulties. Long term usage should opt one to go web client rather than the app.

  • Crash, crash, crash

Navigation made uneasy and stuck when you open “read more”, crash to often.
A shame as the article are good and pro read
  • Good but still not fully functional on IPhone X

The app is great for the Dina aspects but the display covers the entire iPhone X screen. For example the menu button is superimposed over the clock in the upper left corner making it not clickable. Also when you select a date range in the detailed charts the drop-down works but you can’t select any other time frame except one day.

Overall I like the app but hoping this gets fixed in the next update.
