I got this app figuring that the focus on wind would also help me find lack of wind conditions ideal for kayaking. You might want to consider that slant as well in your app considering the great number of kayakers out there.

I’ve been using this app for years to make daily farming decisions, and it’s consistently as accurate as a forecast can be. Used to check 3 apps a day, now just use Rain Today as my default forecast.
Still love Windfinder
Fantastic boating tool for sail and power.. right on forecast for irma in 2017. Wind, tide, waves, rain and temp in one place. Only reason for four not five stars is the long range forecast on map was about 10 days and now just two days. I use it almost every day!!
Helpful, simple to use and reassuring
I use Windfinder all the time when in Menorca. We have been boating for 13 years now and being able to study the conditions and plan trips on the easy to use App is very reassuring.

It covers all wind surfing venture from Aust to Phillipines using local Airport or weather stations ..Forecast so far been useful to me.
Great app
Got the app for the ability to get alerts when wind speed exceeds a certain value so I can take down a gazebo I have up semi-permanently. Does exactly what was asked for. Another selling point for me was that my usage data is not linked to me

I’ve been using this app for years. I fly general aviation, skydive, surf and sail. All my hobbies are wind intensive. This app is usually very accurate and and map function makes it easy to visualize what the wind is doing locally and across whatever geography I’ll be traversing through.
