I have all three (counting this one) of their pinball games, and find the board design to be lacking. Upper left flipper seems to be good for nothing, tired to far down to bottom left. Missions are difficult to find, making the game more just "slap the ball." Fortress area mission w/ extra height, sound, and graphics should be activated more often and more prominent in game, I miss hearing the "amplified" pinball bells noise. Artwork has been improved from the other games and is more in line with traditional pinball. I do like this "game feel", seems to be early 70s oriented, as opposed to the Western pinball 60s), and the The Deep, late 70s - early 80s. Best pinball game yet!
Of the three pinball games that OOO Gameprom has released, this one is the best! The gameplay is great, with lots of unique features and the graphics are very solid. I like the "old school" sound effects, it reminds me of real vintage style pinball bumper and flipper sounds. The only very small criticism I have, is that the ball moves a little too fast at times, but really once you've played it for a few games, you kinda get used to it. Also in future updates, I would like to see them introduce the feature of "matching" at the end of a game, like in real pinball games, with the end result being a free extra ball, or an entire free game that adds onto your existing score. Amazing game but...
Have to agree with another reviewer that the ball does seem to fall down the side gullys really often which is annoying.
Otherwise this is by far one of te best apps for the iPhone and especially one of the best games. Must have.V00d00mag1k
Get rid of sude gulleys
An improvement on Wild West but still retains the infuriating side gulley issue. The ball rolls into the side gulley - gets fired out, cannons back into the side gulley - life lost and nothing I can do about it! Is there anyway of preventing his happening?Simon Antwis
They've done it - The real deal
The Deep was an improvement on The West and this one takes it to the next level.
This is by far the best pinball game out there. It's got everything. The music, the graphics and the gameplay and at a ridiculously low price.

Wait until it's free
I have been a loyal fan of all their pinball games until I realised they are now releasing the Wild West & Deep Sea pinbalk games for free. In an effort to attract new customers they are effectively penalising their loyal fanbase.
At first play this version seems a bit rushed. The field isn't as thought out, it's harder to "pick up and play" and an annoying feature "trapped my ball" literally inches from the paddles. Additionally, the sounds don't capture my imagination and the textures look a bit tired. All of which take away the playability of the game and make it the least fun companion of the series.
Final verdict: worth a play when it's free in a few months and perhaps a few patches to fix the above mentioned shortfalls. Not worth the money right now.Show lessadamlyttle
