Great way to reassemble your past life
I use Moment Diary to record the detailed day to day events of my life, Write Room to write an autobiography that's backward looking and themed, and Life Track to create a skeleton, a broad outline that puts it all in context.
Life Track tells you things. It shows you the highs and lows of your life, how far you've come, and where you are in the circle of life. That makes it a great tool for anyone who's interested in reflection.
Life Track is either cheap, if you pay for the ad-free version, or free. Either way it's great value.
And now you can email yourself a list of events, meaning your data is safe, it's pretty perfect. Maybe a desktop companion version would be helpful.
I've always found it stable, flexible, and easy to use. And the latest version makes it better still.

Great App
I am really enjoying this app. It makes it really easy to add new events. I like the way it displays. I look forward to being able to share my data between devices via iCloud. Then I will definitely give it 5 stars!s_wiss13
Crashes
The interface was great the few times that the app actually worked but it crashes and freezes too much to even deal with. Most of the time I couldn't even get the app to load at all so I deleted it.Andrew31479
Gps shut down issue
I really enjoy this app, but it's shut down on me 4 times when I've tried to add an event with a gps location. So you get all your info in, but when you put in a place it will force close and not save your event. It's doesn't do it on all events, so not sure what the connection is yet. Good Idea
This is a cool idea for an app if only the crashes and freezes would be fixed. Began entering info for the third time and it froze up again and now won't load. Wait for updates that will hopefully come along!Mec1hughes

I initially got this app for a school project that I was doing. After weeding through a million other apps without finding one that would allow me to make a timeline, I finally stumbled on LifeTrack! I absolutely love this app! It's so easy to use, it presents the input data in a clear concise way, and you can't beat the price! The only reason I withheld the 5th star is because there is no good way of exporting your timeline into, say, a PDF or some other format that would be easily shareable.Show lessTangoteeth
Has Potential
This has some potential and with iCould syncing could become really useful. The user interface is pretty crude … choosing a light colour for a track means the white text is unreadable, for example. I agree it would be very good to have durations of events (was at this school from this time to this time). Will preserver but would dearly love to see some serious work done on the user interface.Show lessNickDun
