… Keep it up 👍🏼

Thank you Marita Smith ‘volunteer’

The train only took us half way to our destination - Richmond station.
‘The first day of practice
round’.
It was pouring rain!!!as we waited and waited for a tram to get to the tennis.
Marita (a AO volunteer who was on her way to work there) kindly stepped in and offered us transport. Her partner drive us all.
What a fabulously kind and excellent volunteer you have working at the tennis.
Thank goodness!!
We then had to wait in the rain for 10 minutes as the scanners for entry malfunctioned.
What a shocking morning but a very big
thank you to your volunteer.

Many faults.

Have so far come across 2 faults. First not listing Rafa Nadal as being a player as he has stated he will be competing this year. Secondly, when I completed the suggestion form, ticked the consent to terms. It failed to submit. Said “an error has occurred retry later”. I retried and got the same thing. Surely, in this day and age they can do better and test things before releasing them. Minus 5 stars if it were possible.
Received explanation as to why could not find Rafa Nadal. However, as no explanation as to why the submit error occurred have now given my review 3 stars. Would have been a 5 if they had addressed all.

Response from developer

Hi Skibunnybabe Thanks for your feedback The reason you aren’t able to see some of the players or even Nadal in the player list is because the Main draw hasn’t come out yet. We display all the correct player info once we have the draws confirmed. So you will see all the players that came in the Qualifier’s draw are in there but for others, we need to wait until we get the Main draw. In the background we are also working on fixing the feedback form and should release an update soon. Thanks The AO App team

Wonderful AO

It was wonderful to watch the tennis on TV.
A friend and I used to attend and stay in Melbourne. She has passed away.
I did attend by myself once but not the same plus cost of everything gone up. Also I am older now.
I enjoyed viewing day and night.
The coverage was great and so were the Commentators.
It was most interesting to see so many new competitors do well.
Congratulations to the organisers and volunteers.
I am so pleased I have the App on my phone.
If I was out I could log in to see what the latest update was. Thank you. JanT

Does not give push notifications on your favorite players 👎🏽

Completely Useless

Quite possibly the worst app I’ve ever used. Total crap.

Good app experience

Overall, the AO app is smooth and usable. Navigation and visual design are nice to use.

A blocking app update in the middle of the open to update the finals schedule was surprising. Surely an app that’s used for 2 weeks a year shouldn’t need a hard update during those 2 weeks?

Live activities notification should have been in this year

Live activities notification should have been in this year.

Australian Open

The Tennis app is great I’m disabled so going to Melbourne would be too much for me but I can follow every match and see the Disabled Wheelchair tennis and the Junior Tennis events as well so I use it every chance I get unfortunately like many Australians I miss Nick Kyrgios a lot I think he is the only one left who can take down Djokovic
